ADF and smoke are both a bit screwed on MP IF you are on the server when the ADF or smoke starts, then u hear / see it IF you connect after the ADF ro smoke has been started , it does not exist for you, bug has been like this for many years ED seemingly do not care to fix it

The huey is a good choice for something to help you learn basic helicopter flying, it has no stability systems and it is raw seat of your pants type flying

yeah u can override the VIC/PID/device name in the profile tab , then click SAVE VPC DEVICE to send it to the device Virpil really need to stop changing those things I have warned them multiple times the massive ballache doing this causes for end users

for a zoom function , if you dont have an analog axis for it but have 3 buttons spare maybe use button to axis config to do this (this is what I use for zoom on my virpil ALpha-L that is on my collective)
