I'd still like to see him run the test without the paddle. I'm not convinced pulling the paddle doesn't also affect turn performance below 7.5g. After all, it is just code and not a real-life jet. The thing to keep in mind is that when ED defends their FM they are almost certainly saying without the paddle.
-
That’s very, very good performance. Now ask him to do it without the paddle.

Still waiting to hear back from Eagle Dynamics

I really don’t understand the issue here. If you don’t like it in this EA state, don’t buy it. If you’ve already bought it, just don’t install it until it meets your standards.

Let him and his friends have their fun for now. You learn a lot about players who gleefully join the team with a 2 or 3 to 1 advantage. Also, other than the sheer numbers on the server at the moment, the F-4 is just a historical counterpart of the Mig-21. So, there's justification for charging points to use it.
-
My point is if you can see the missions in the picture below, the license is not your problem:
-
Do you see instant action missions for it?

Great job with the server. It has quite literally become where I spend at least 80% of my DCS time. Well done.

Next patch is 26 June

It's nice to finally have the Phantom II to fly... But it's not the Crusader. Miss you, F-8.

F-14 A/B feature follow-up, wish list and beyond

No, I don’t have a 2-way switch I’d use for that but I understand those that do -

I'll go out on a limb and assume he's asking for a single 2-way switch binding in addition to the current individual up and down bindings for the landing flaps. Doesn't seem that unreasonable, if that's the case. -
That's too bad. I've had a couple of tickets with them and always got good support

OK, but I’m gonna assume Heatblur started with their own code from scratch. So we can probably agree that the current F4 has been in development somewhere between three and seven years.
-
And re-used code and artwork? You know this?
-
Unless Heatblur used any of the code or artwork from Belsimtek, I don’t think it’s accurate to combine the two efforts. But I guess it depends on the point each person is trying to make.
-
The first announcement video came out Jan 2022 and it had already been in development long enough for Heatblur to say it would be released in the same year. So really closer to three years or more, I think.

Is asking for SEPECAT Jaguar a good idea ? Or not.

Not the reason I was thinking, but just as relevant. -

If you have to ask… -
It seems like you should be able to use a mod manager like OVGME for that as long as your files have the same names as the default ones
-
Well, I guess they’ll just have to live with the consequences of their decision. But something tells me they’ll do just fine.
-
Fair enough

Yeah, I get it. But to imply Navy F-4 pilots didn't use teamwork in their tactics is not accurate. And off the top of my head, I believe the Navy's kill ratio in 1972 far exceeded the Air Forces.
