Worst case scenario, anyone buying a Razbam module after the dispute came to light yesterday has a very good justification for a refund.
-
It would be useful for the discussion to hear what you think the OP gets wrong.
-
I believe the plan is to introduce the PG map with the F-4
-
Personally, I liked it and wish they left it on.

I'll go out on a limb and assume that's weather turbulence, not wake turbulence. According to the server information, wake turbulence is off for the server. (See picture) However, now that I'm thinking about it, I fly on that server often and distinctly remember feeling wake turbulence several times recently. Copy
-
But should he be experiencing wake turbulence if it's turned off for that server?

Just simulate being a carrier-based pilot on exchange duty with a land-based air force. That’s super realistic.
-
Which stick did you get? I'm toying with the idea myself.

Yeah, it's number one on my wish list. They said some time ago they were placing it on the backburner for other priorities.

Maybe more of an induced coma. But I’m concerned the patient could still die.

F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
Cab replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
It’s been that way for at least a week now, I think. And don’t forget the rainbow! As in, “the pot gold at the end of…” -
More accurately, it was originally designed for fleet air defense for the U.S. Navy.
-
This is a waste of time. I’m out
-
That is quite literally not what’s happening here. A closer comparison might be a sign advertising the building your favorite restaurant right down the street but it never opens.
-
My thoughts exactly. Except to be precise, I believe Aggressor F-5’s were also based in England and the Philippines.
-
Yes, they certainly could be. My guess is the USAF made the decision PAR’s were sufficient for the F-5 and saved money not installing ILS.
-
For the record, IRL PAR approaches can get a plane not equipped with ILS or GPS down to 200 feet.
-
This may be the fundamental misunderstanding. At this time they don’t have a product to sell, and they aren’t pretending otherwise.
-
Sure, I think everyone would agree more frequent updates would be good. If handled correctly it is probably a net positive. The problem, as is see it, is people feeling like devs have an obligation to do so when they’ve accepted no money.

I don't remember what interview it was, but I do remember hearing someone I thought reputable say that about Swiss Hornets. I don't recall that about the Finnish ones. But they also said the Swiss Hornets had structural enhancements that allowed it. Other than that, I don't remember seeing a definitive reference.
-
Who, exactly, is jerking you around. They've taken no money; they've made no promises. You and others need to rethink this.
-
Maybe. But that fact is none of us know
-
Unless the Swiss (and maybe the Finns?) made them for themselves, I doubt there are any. But I agree they would be very interesting to look at if they did exist.
