Yep, I remember that mod causing something similar with the Mirage F1. In that case the F1 cockpit was wrapped in the Su-25 cockpit.
-
It is apparently in their plans.

There is a toggle switch in your profile settings that controls whether or not you see signatures

I can’t provide the source right now, but I think I remember hearing it uncages the Sidewinder seeker Edit: Here you go

First ever DCS: F-4E Phantom II Feedback Thread - May 22nd 2024
Cab replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
After just a couple of days flying, I can now say this is now my favorite module. Great job, Heatblur. -
Did you refresh the screen? Those may be out-of-date numbers. I got in yesterday with 58/64.

As I wrote above, I more often than not get no tone even from directly behind and well within range with the target at the top of the HUD and a radar lock. I don’t know enough to say it’s wrong, but I haven’t seen anything to convince me it’s correct. However, I will try one more time using your diagram above.

I fly the Mirage a lot and still struggle to get a tone, even from directly 6 o'clock. Quite frankly, it seems unlikely to me that the real Sidewinder behaved this way, especially the J and P versions. Quite the contrary, most (if not all) historical references I've read told of missiles getting lock and being fired out of the envelope, not a frustration that lock was difficult to achieve in the first place. I am, however, willing to be convinced otherwise if there is some documentation to support the claim above.
-
A bold claim. I guess we'll find out at some point.

Mag3 doesn't start earning money on their module until it's released, so I doubt ED would make such a decision even if they could.
-
Fair enough, but I’ll take it as soon as it’s ready and just simulate flying a warbird in modern times. The map and other products can come later.

Point CTRL is a game changer for this. (If you can get one) Edit: If you’re flying in VR

F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement

In order to keep this constructive, we'll just have to agree to disagree on the interpretation of the published facts. In the meantime, like I posted above, pre-purchase is obviously not for everyone. -
F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement

To be fair, they were clear about using March 31st as the end of winter, rather than March 21. Inaccurate, but a small difference in the overall picture. -
F-4E Phantom II Development Update and Release Delay Announcement
Cab replied to IronMike's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Pre-purchase has proven to not be for everyone. If delays are going to cause any amount of stress , the answer is to just wait until the day prior to release. Same price, no stress. -
Steady, lad. If you want to wait until more details are provided before you pre-purchase, that is entirely understandable. And you have right up until EA release to make that decision. Plenty of time really. But many of us are perfectly comfortable pre-purchasing right now, and that's okay, too. There's really nothing here to see or be concerned about until the EA release day comes. As for the Flaming Cliffs update with three new aircraft, so what? They seem to be repurposing work that had been done in preparation for MAC. I won't buy it because I have their FF counterparts, but then I suspect I'm not the target customer.

They’ve already said you can request a refund. -
They addressed it by saying a feature list will be provided once it’s finalized.

New "Flaming Cliffs 2024" aircraft questions (F-5E, F-86, Mig-15)
Cab replied to cfrag's topic in DCS: Flaming Cliffs
If don't think you should then. But I also don't think you're the target customer. -
I'm not sure that's what he was referring to.
-
Because it's all voluntary. You not buying for your reasons is perfectly understandable, but as you can see in this forum others of us don't share the same concerns. And that's reasonable too.
-
That doesn't address what I referenced. You specifically implied your surprise that people are allowed to just up and quit their jobs. But in any case, that hasn't happened (as in taking your money and bailing). I really don't want to come off as lecturing, but you and others are seriously overreacting at this point.
