  1. Mover has actually said exactly this on numerous occasions. Maybe not so much "flying badly", but not flying like it's for real. Personally, I just assume they don't spend enough BFM time in DCS to get good at it in the game.
  2. Yes, here is the planned EOL timeline
  3. No, because it isn't available for pre-order on Steam yet.
  4. It doesn’t have an internal gun, and I don’t think it carries a gun pod IRL.
  5. You should let them know. They may not understand that.
  6. Yes, the Sabre thing did happen in Korea. A similar event happened in Vietnam with two F-4s (Google Pardo's Push“) I have no insight on whether it can be done in DCS.
  7. Can you share that email? I don’t see where I received anything like that.
  8. Your first point makes sense for headsets sold prior to the announcement by Microsoft. After that it's difficult for me to believe they can continue selling the product without informing the purchaser. But again, as I said, I have no idea what the law actually says. No one here has claimed to actually know the applicable laws for this situation. I am happy to be shown I'm wrong if that's not the case.
  9. That remains to be seen. The website only says "out of stock"
  10. I asked the question on HP’s Reverb G2 store page (see attached pic) We’ll see what they answer.
  11. Maybe, maybe not. No one here seems to know the law so time will tell
  12. Have they officially announced it being discontinued? I’m not a lawyer but selling new product knowing it’s going to stop working in less than two years seems to me like a form of fraud. But like I wrote above, it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. For the record, I own a G2 also.
  13. On a positive note, people relying on WMR headsets should be okay until Nov 2025 as long as they don't update to Win11 24H2. It looks like security patches will be supported for 23H2 until then. See here: Windows 11 Home and Pro - Microsoft Lifecycle | Microsoft Learn
  14. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens because HP has not discontinued the Reverb G2, and although it is "Out of Stock" in their online store they still give the impression it will be available for sale after it's back in stock. In the end it's difficult for me to imagine a EULA that would protect HP for sales made after Microsoft officially informed them about dropping WMR. Personally, I would be surprised if HP isn't already working on alternative software, if only through a third-party.
  15. Agree. I just asked HP on the Reverb G2 page about their plan.
  16. According to the linked page below 23H2 will continue to receive security patches until 11 Nov 2025. So it would seem WMR users should be good until then as long as they don't update to 24H2. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-11-home-and-pro
  17. ...and fifty of the people... Fixed it for you.

    F-18 boring?

Sometime in the ‘70’s ‘(I didn’t care enough to google it either)
  19. That’s why NATOPS manuals are called “the big blue sleeping pill”.
  20. There’s a lot to argue against in your list, but this one made me chuckle. I have never understood why some people get so worked up over getting rammed. Overall I’d suggest you should just start your own server.
  21. DCS opens in MT when I use the default start icon in the Eagle Dynamics folder in the Start Menu apps list.
  22. I don't think it's necessary to update the file in the ST bin folder if DLSS isn't available to select in ST.
