so what seemed to be the problem for me was this , i had previously used a MAV in pre mode, and whilst it was still in pre mode, it would not allow me to change the target waypoint, even though i had no mavericks remaining, turning of pre mode on the maverick weapons page enabled me to correctly select the new target

depends on the MB... many will now default to the "loosest" settings , some are even downright smart about it... -
how much RAM ? 2/3rds full should be fine assuming you havent got anything else on that disk ? and @Mr_sukebe is correct.

what are your other specs ? on a HDD its a definite yes, already on SSD it will improve but might be its something else slowing you down i'm on a SSD with a 600Mbs transfer rate and i dont see anything like that sort of load time, maybe the first time i go to a map

short answer yes, long answer it depends a lot on your settings, but in VR yes, online in VR definitely also stickjing DCS on an SSD (super cheap) is highly recommended -

its unlikely you would see any difference between 3200 and 3000 though a lot would depend on your config... but the edge cases are rare enough to say "don't worry about it" -
F16 TGP slewing away and HAD cant select targets

i have been getting a similar problem but in Single player -
So there is also this option https://docs.realmlist.eu/tutorials/retaining-windows-mixed-reality-support-on-windows-11 which will enable him to stay on a supported version of Windows 11 and get security updates and still use wmr. But that is just pushing the problem to the right, my personal view is that wireless solutions aren't quite there yet, mostly due to wireless bandwidth solutions or compression over the cable because of its own bandwidth solutions, and the last thing dcs needs is additional softawr introducing additional latency.... That said the G2 was itself flawed outside of the sweet spot, due to the fresnal lenses, but maybe something like the pimax light would be a good fit, depending on budget.

i don't quite understand what you are saying ? But 1) make sure your center XR Necksafer and your VR center in DCS are assigned to the same button 2) make sure that XR Necksafer is first in the API stack using the latest release of GitHub - fredemmott/OpenXR-API-Layers-GUI: UI for managing OpenXR API layers

I have the same/similar problem, I thought i was going mad. This is in single player, I can create a steerpoint, 21 (as it i had MGRS) but when, i come to create a second waypoint for the next target, it will not unlock from steerpoint 21, even if i overwrite the co-ordinates for steerpoint 21, it will not enable me to slave to a different location.

currently doing Mission 3 and after entering the MGRS co-ords for the alpha target... the TGP just seems to lock SP3 and i can't unlock it ... there is something i am missing ?

speed-of-heat replied to HoneyBadger's topic in Game Performance Bugs
Processor would be my guess, but honestly I'd look at your operating system hygiene and settings first -
try it without the correction ?
