Sorry for reviving this thread but i have noticed something: jester can be heard even after ICS amplifier and amplifier backup failure, for both pilot and rio (that is, all 4 ICS amplifiers dead). Manual says intercommunication shouldnt be possible (page 289, second note on the page). But it is. Isnt this a bug?

  6. i have discovered that this bug is triggered by the view being placed at 5047-5048 feet above sea level in caucasus. slightly more or slightly less, and it wont happen. you can reach an altitude precisely in ctrl-f11 view with mousewheel for speed. there are other altitudes that trigger this, for example 5983 feet above sea level in caucasus. at this altitude, the problem is far more aggressive. another example is at 13610 feet.
  7. bump i cant see anything on exported displays (TGP mostly) in night missions. ED pls give us two keybinds, for increasing and decreasing brightness on exported viewports pls...
  8. How is the IFF transponder going to detemine the exact azimuth of the incoming IFF request to correlate it precisely with RWR nails? Also the IFF transmitter isnt emitting continously, so if what you say was true, the friendly RWR nails would appear on SA for at least a while. EDIT: Furthermore I'd like to add that on DCS F-14 it works the way Beamscanner and Ahmed expect it to work. That means, if there is an aircraft type thats used by both sides in a mission, then neither friendly nor hostile aircraft of that type are considered as friendly by RWR FRIEND filter.

  11. Ive disabled this Radeon Overlay long time ago and I still get this bug. So its not the definite cause.

  13. Sometimes radio messages get stuck in an infinite loop, repeated again and again. Cause is unknown but I suspect it has something to do with flight kiss off if the wingman isnt in formation. It doesnt stop even after you land. Track: none but ill look out for this

  15. Good video. However it actually is evidence of at least one bug in regards to blanking - selected weapon name and count disappear when automatically blanked over HUD. This doesnt happen in DCS, youll see them twice (HUD+HMD). @BIGNEWY are these facts known? I cant tell if this thread was marked correct-as-is in april or after the video post. jhmcs_blanking_bug.trk (HUD brightness toned down for clarity of what belongs to what) There are some more differences, like the line from cross to TD and "Friend" under TD both displayed in the HMD in the video. This doesnt happen in DCS either. Not sure what to think of that.
  16. Black rectangles in sky happen occasionally during flight, this bug happens only during missile launches or hits. So i dont know about less frequently. What matters to me is that this color flashing bug damages gameplay because i immediately magically know when im launched at and can immediately drop flares. The black rectangles dont affect gameplay, theyre only visual annoyance.

  19. Interesting. So far im seeing it with A2A missiles and SAMs. Didnt occur to me to test rocket artillery.
  20. Nothing to do with syria. Remove Scenery is broken for many years in DCS. Avoid it, it randomly works or doesnt work. Just dont use it. Lots of information about this DCS engine bug here:
