  1. I would hope so! There must be some sort of boresighting mechanism in the other planes as well, and I would welcome that. Feels wrong to just sling them in the Hornet, I want the full monty and have to boresight as well.
  2. I don't. I have bought this, but the LoFi turns me off so much that I never touched it again.
  3. Until we get realistic basket / boom physics it is and will stay just super easy.
  4. I mean, you could take a look for HMD in the supplied manual...
  5. No need to record something - simply load up a quick flight, replicate the issue, finish your flight and then choose the "Save track replay" option. Upload said track here afterwards for analysis.
  6. It does not need that for efficient proportional navigation.
  7. This Thread is not about the 9M, but yeah - obviously that has it's limitations with regards to FOV etc.
  8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proportional_navigation
  9. Same, and the Viper feels like everything else to me, tbqh.
  10. Tbh it's not a Hornet issue, but a map issue - so the bug is in the map maker's hands.
  11. Take a look at Forum rule 1.16 Unless you provide any documentation on how PP should work instead of how it is implemented now, and PM that to the relevant people (Wags, Bignewy, 9Line) the entire "discussion" is moot. That said: any sort of RL conflict loadout of legacy Hornets with JDAMs that I have seen amounts to one or two carried. There is not a lot of confusion with that in conjunction with the various PPs, also Pilots carry "cheat sheets" all the time, in form of mission details and any other kind of information on kneeboards etc. What you see as "possible source of errors" may very well still be absolutely fine for the government contractor.
  12. Of course that is a point - how will you be able to judge what is a "reasonable amount of time" when you have nothing to compare it to? And you can't even say for sure it slowed down due to the Viper since you know exactly nothing about their inner workings. It may as well have sped up various things during development since these modules profit from similar systemolgy. Since they didn't give any sort of timeframe: it is absolutely fine as it is.
  13. Why should "half a decade" be an unreasonable amount of time for the production of this complex niche product? Which other, faster, combat flight sims do you compare it to and what is the basis of your complaint?
  14. Why don't you program everything on the ground?
  15. It cannot be done in the Mission Editor. You can of course modify each and every waypoint and / or sequence in the jet as as soon as the avionics are powered, you don't have to fly past an arbitrary point to modify the "following" ones.
  16. Ohhhhh, you *demand*! That will change everything, I am sure!
  17. You can always filter what the HMD should present to you as well in order to set up a better solution for your needs. That said: when you L&S the tanker it will take priority and be shown, same as with the Helo. And if both of those are filtered due to range / other priorities then you honestly dont need it in the HMDs view, yet, tbqh.
  18. The ASE dot is not needed for effective A/A engagements in any way, shape or form. Is it nice to have? Sure, but please dont pretend this breaks the jet. A fix will come in good time, take a deep breath, for crying out loud.
  19. Nope, not using extensions, curves or saturation settings here - just not hamfisting it and a bit of practice. Hey, I know people who can refuel flying with keyboard, so I am firmly certain that the equipment is irrelevant, in the grand scheme of things. Is it making it a bit easier? Yeah, probably, but honestly it isn't hard to begin with.
  20. Fly mission, end mission, select "save track", save track somewhere convenient, attach track to post in this here forum.
  21. I would not download mods so I can play any specific mission
  22. I was just talking about me, though?
  23. Why would I? I am flying a good dozen of modules and my VKB Gunfighter MCG Pro covers all of my aviation needs
