  1. That is incorrect, landing with ATC engages requires full flaps as well. @OP: just refer to Wags' video on the matter
  2. Y'all set up training missions, make track reports, post them as a bug report in the bugs subforum daily until acknowledgement and or fix at some point in time, whenever that may be. Every other kind of hemming and hawing and wondering and growing angry about that stuff in this here thread is essentially somewhat worthless.
  3. True as well, but given good time both CCIP and the damage model will be working more as expected in real life.
  4. To be fair: IRL the CEP of iron bombs is way worse than 10m/30ft
  5. It absolutely is implemented, make sure to set the lights mode switch to NITE, because IFEI brightness is adjustable only in NITE or NVG Manual, page 81:
  6. See, that's a good source - that may be helpful for the team as well. I would kinda guess they see that as a low priority, because it fundamentally is not essential for the game as is, especially in combination with the included free carriers, but that way it could go to the extended to-do list!
  7. Don't have any written sources that I could give you, sorry. Just from talking to RL pilots. Please, let me ask: where does your understanding with regards to MIL or burner come from? Logically, the control wipeout needs to have correct hydraulic power, not necessarily full thrust.
  8. Crazy thought: don't advance throttles to 100% before performing your control wipe and/or final checks? (and no, there is no need to perform those while sitting at full throttle IRL either)
  9. Oh yeah, sorry: I didn't notice if you were wondering about the manual (which is wrong, if we take real life behaviour) or about the behaviour itself (which is correct). @Tholozor kindly clarified that again, as well
  10. That is correct behaviour: in Semi-Auto DISPENSE SWITCH FWD irl provides semi-auto consent, as in "go and release the countermeasures that you deem necessary". Auto is fully automatic and thusly dispense fwd does nothing. DISPENSE AFT dispenses the selected pgm.
  11. 4 tanks is a platoon, not a company *EDIT* Oh, now I get what you mean. Yeah, a company losing 4 tanks is down to less than 70% and thusly disrupted. I need more coffee.
  12. The F-18 is not designed to "clean up tank fleets". Thusly, it doesn't have a lot of mass anti armor weaponry, as per real life.
  13. And just for completeness' sake: it's AGM-84, not -64
  14. Basically: wherever you want, it's jsut a mission file. In the mission editor then open the file from wherever you dropped it. Generally the missions subfolder in your saved games\DCS folder is a smart choice, though, since that is used by default
  15. I'm just trying to wrap my head around how someone would scroll 24 squares, since that takes AGES, and still thinks that's the right thing to do. Ah well. Whatever.
  16. You have been scrolling 1.200nm that way. The system expects that pilots know that more than a few squares should probably be outside of any sort of applicable combat radius
  17. Given the way MGRS works it's next to impossible to slew vertically to the wrong square - you have to slew 24 squares vertically to reach the same 100.000 meter square code again in MGRS-new. There's no way any person on this planet has SA so bad
  18. Hey @BIGNEWY, sorry for tagging you here, but maybe you can take a look at this: in both Wags' video and in the manual, the TXDSG lines should be red (solid for flight, dashed for allied flights over L16) while ingame everything is dashed green. That must have changed between Wags' vid and now, do you happen to have an info what is correct? If green is indeed correct then the manual needs an update! Thanks a lot!
  19. Pretty sure that's intended and correct, never saw any hint about colored lines in our software version anywhere on the documents I have.
  20. Pretty sure that has changed soon after Wags recorded that Video. Has been green lines for a long time now.
  21. TXDSG dashed or solid (for flight members) lines are supposed to be green, to the best of my knowledge.
