Regarding vapor trails and raindrops: I think the F-18 is the most important project for ED atm and they want to make that module as good as possible. That includes tweaking/enhancing EDGE especially for the F-18 and if other modules fall behind, they will be taken care of later. One more reason for me as a player to fully concentrate on the F-18 (as does ED).

I bought a LG 43" IPS monitor - should arrive tomorrow. Occasionally I put on my PSVR and check things out in DCS, but for me VR is just not there yet.

I guess that's true for me. Flight time is limited and the F/A-18 will replace the A-10C as my main DCS module. Until the Apache or Black Hawk come along...

A foreboding of things to come?

Problem with editing original files is, the update and repair will always replace it with the original version -> additional download and manually replacing the mission files again. A much better and consumer friendly solution would be to have ED provide the English voice overs . And they could clean up the untranslated Russian texts, too and use feet and knots, when the english cockpit is selected to match the instruments.

Jetzt wo Virpil die WarBRD Base für meinen Warthog mal wieder um 2 Wochen nach hinten verschoben hat, kommt mir die F-18 doch wirklich ein wenig zu früh. Da muss ich doch glatt die HOTAS Einstellungen doppelt machen.

TGP image problem: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=207031 With labels on, use the HUD diamond to place the TGP on a label, then orbit the plane a few klicks away and go from there.

We'll have to wait for the TGP image to be improved by ED - there is a thread about that in the A-10 forum. As a workaround, you could use labels to find the ground targets.

Those choices should always be left to the customers. IMHO of course.

In german there is a special word for this: verschlimmbessert, meaning making it worse with the intention to make it better. But I‘m confident ED will remedy the shortcomings of the memory Manager sooner than later.

I'm wondering what kind of Software/content will be available for the headset.

When do you plan to bring the module out of early access?

The price tag is prohibitive, but the EC135 set is very tempting. But as spending so much money on sim controls could lead to war at the home front I have to wait for better times...

Maybe they could tell us what went wrong.

I enjoy reading the forums. And learning the modules. I would like to fly more campaigns but they are too buggy at the moment.

My plan is to buy it in a sale together with a great f-18 carrier based campaign.

Maybe a new early access module is imminent?
