Youre still getting 3 of the 4 airframes you mentioned are there. Honestly, peoples idea of a mind melting complex milestone of a release is pretty limited- "Hey look at the aircraft we gave you a long time ago. Now instead of using your keybinds you can flip the onscreen switches " What a letdown that would be if thats what ED was launching the hype train about. Alternate models of existing airframes & clicky switches of old modules are a real low bar for a mind melting milestone. I certainly hope its not a rehash of what we have already

Re: desert Storm: I think that's what many were looking forward to with PG map. Don't get me wrong, it's my go-to map where I do most of my flying, but I think the northern gulf would've been a much better choice, and I don't understand the reasoning for focusing on Hormuz (a flashpoint worthy of plenty of speculative scenarios) over the northern end -kuwait,Iraq,Iran (site of actual IRL scenarios) I love the Hormuz map, but what a missed opportunity.

I'll voice a dissenting opinion and say that, for VR at least, I find it quite an elegant solution. I find it no more immersion killing than some other options. I would like to see it or something like it implemented more broadly

Those are better suited for the x-plane crowd than here.

i found it to be awful. i really dont like cover tunes in trailers, especially bad ones,its gotten cliche and its a trend id like to see vanish. ive always felt the cranberries were a particular kind of terrible, so i just mute the video- no ones making any spoken announcements i said it before, and ill say it again: we need Laobi narrating these trailers

i prefer pits like this. visually more cluttered, id agree but as a VR pilot, i can access more info i need this way than by a glass cockpit 2nd- i prefer older aircraft. theyre more interesting to me. while i have virtually all the aircraft axcept a few of the ww2 planes, i find the ones with glass cockpits hold my attention the least. ive probably spent more time in the f-5 than the av8,f16, and f18 combined(cant fly the jeff yet. someday itll come to stable, but i anticipate it being more of the same) . perhaps the one i fly most is the mi8. i find the f14 a blast, when its not a slideshow ...so, the latest&greatest multirole aircraft isnt my thing
