  1. Especially the -A model! But any of these three I think are good candidates
  2. Don't hold your breath waiting for something to upgrade out of fc3. F-111 is an interesting one that comes up frequently in this forum, if that's any indicator of interest.
  3. Skeeter had already been announced, that's why
  4. Yea, the old forger was quite the Widowmaker. Id like to see more funky old red designs
  5. Yak-38 : )chuckles vertically ( H A H A H A
  6. I'd be willing to bet $$ it's not the f15c
  7. Yawn. Ordinary.
  8. Razbam already has it. This announcement is ED's show
  9. Pretty much all those have been mentioned already, in development by someone else, or ruled out entirely. Tho this might be the first the jaguar has made the list, I think
  10. Perhaps we're barking up the wrong tree. Perhaps what's so astoundingly mind melting isn't so much the airframe itself....it's... Wait for it... Wait for it.... A module released not in early Access, but as a complete bug-free fully fleshed out aircraft with all systems fully functional on day 1. It would take the "laser focus" he mentioned
  11. This is the first I'd heard " brain melting", I must have missed that one. But that doesn't sound like language nineline typically uses. The more I think of it, in light of the f4u and the Pacific islands, I'm thinking it may be a Zero or some other Japanese aircraft
  12. This is same thing I've been saying elsewhere. I doubt Ed would do that, it could render both the -c and -e unprofitable for both developers. Here's a possibility I haven't seen elsewhere but with Pacific islands and f4u on the way, Japanese ww2 acft makes sense Having f15 being brought out of fc3 is low hanging fruit for Ed
  13. true, but you also have "one set of bindings to rule them all" and no means of interacting with the individual controls....ie "no clicky", which is fine- ive got no problem with FC3 either the point i was making was that MAC is likely to be a more streamlined experience while remaining historically accurate- like IL2, rather than an arcade game like Ace Combat
  14. the 4th gen blue air burnout is real. and a reissue of an existing model is, as you describe it, low hanging fruit. for a tepid offering like that , i could see them saying outright: hey, we're gonna re-release the f15c. Knowing that people seem to enjoy speculating, debating, and perhaps arguing over upcoming mystery releases I doubt ED would set into motion a hype train over that. I think it would be a new airframe. it would be nice to have some parity with red air, but id like to see something that wasn't a flanker variant (im sure you'd disagree, Harli) for all we know, theyd toss a SPAD our way just to screw with us!
  15. you beat me to it! google apostle safo for more :)
  16. I think Deka has that one slated.
  17. Already modeled! :megalol:
  18. Already been announced , AFAIK..so not the skeeter
  19. True, you have a point on the A-10, but in that case ED owned both variants. It's a little different story with ED and another developer putting out competing full fidelity variants of the same airframe-.theyd be poaching revenue from each other, likely leaving neither module profitable. With the f-16 and the Jeff, they look similar and fit similar roles, but they're not the same airframe, the way a -e model and -C model f-15 would be. I'm not convinced these are really airframes that interfere with each others sales I have zero interest in either model, but if my most recent purchases are any indication, I'd probably still buy it. I would like to see more older aircraft, especially ones designed to do one thing, and do it really well, rather than having yet another multi-role, do-everything, flying Swiss army knife. . But we've all got our own opinions :)
  20. There's a lot of aircraft not in the video, and since there's probably more "eagerly awaited aircraft" than there are DCS users, it's not much of a clue. In all honesty, it may turn out to be a total surprise that no one saw coming, much like the Marianas map was...but it'll be interesting to see what kind of speculation gets drummed up over the course of this year
  21. The MK I mod 0 doghouse! In all seriousness, I would love to see the Apache modeled especially (I know this will be an unpopular opinion) an early -A model. But I would like to see how ED implements the split workload of a tandem cockpit in the Hind first. I would love to see more helos, and more cold war era equipment rather than the latest-and-greatest .
  22. And stable will see it March-ish :music_whistling::joystick:
  23. An osprey would be fun, if we're talking large aircraft, but we'll probably never see it. In any case, it would be best done by razbam (to include the Tarawa) but they've got a lot on their plate. In any case, I'm really hopeful we could see an h-5 or h-6 from deka. I'd really prefer the h-5, the h-6 opens up a new avenue of simulation being able to be a bomber or a tanker
  24. I'm not sure further development of the f-15c makes sense, for two reasons: A.) It sets a precedent that leaves people clamoring even more loudly to develop existing aircraft out of the FC3 standard to "full clickyness" B.) Development of F-15e elsewhere and -C model by ED would take a bit of wind out of each other's sails, and if I remember correctly ED has worked to avoid those types of conflicts. For some people it's important to have a specific variant of an aircraft, who's gonna long up 80 bux or so for both a -c and an -e? Or why would they buy one when they already have the other? Furthermore, there's bound to be plenty of hurt feelings from FC3 owners if ED charges for a full fidelity model of what they already have. (I base that statement off of what I've seen in the supercarrier threads) I'm not sure what qualifies as "eagerly awaited" since the aircraft spoken about most often are confirmed as delayed or in development by someone else...but I'm pretty sure rehashing an FC3 aircraft won't be their big announcement
