Based on the number of times I've read it over and over, in fact the only pilot book I've done so with, my hands down favorite piloting book (not fighters) would be Robert Mason's Vietnam memoir "chickenhawk" ,it's a visceral look at being a busy pilot and after my 80s era edition wore out, my newest edition has some interesting extra info on Bob's colleagues who're featured in the book under psuedonyms If we're talking just fighters, I can't remember the name , but on Amazon I found a Kindle book written by an Iranian tomcat pilot that was interesting Also, mig pilot, Viktor belenkos biography!

+1 this. Also, if the material is handled respectfully, and fidelity to historical facts is a goal, then it is disrespectful for that troop's legacy to transfer their sacrifice to a fictitious proxy If the battle is just a setting for a free-for-all, that's one thing, but when recreating units, air craft #s, et cetera, then you are representing actual people & their names& memory should be preserved. Consider this: in the use of actual names, you give people a springboard to look deeper into these people, so they become more than "that extra guy who dies" , and can spark an interest in the human side of conflicts. That's somewhat obscured when you use fictitious names

Gotta write missions as well. Dunno if it will come with any, or if the 3rd party devs were given a chance to write missions for their aircraft as well

My PSU is irrelevant in this case. I cant remember off the top of my head what it is, but its more than sufficient, & i didnt play around with any of the settings. this was plug, play, &3 months later, fail. they may have cleared up all the faulty boards, i havent been watching the forums too closely since i got mine back -

Not the power supply, and it certainty wasn't one of the fans. its an unfortunately common failure to these cards. Nvidia replaced the card and all is good so far, but for how long is anyones guess. Nvidia may have fixed the issue, but im still seeing plenty of posts from people with the same issue as recently as August -

If this was in response to me, no i did mean 1070fe. Mine died in the first 3 months, im on my second one now. If you Google 1070 feartifacts, youll see plenty of people with failed boards -
Even if it were 4 clicks, it would be nice to have

Theres also no sign ive seen that ugra reads or responds on the English forum. I could be wrong tho

Dropping paratroopers could be a new mission type as well, perhaps even tie in with CA I dont know how many countries used an2 for that, but cuba did for sure

Wishlist for potential planes after JF-17

:music_whistling: woooow, relax buddy, and perhaps thicken your skin a bit last time i checked, we were all here cuz we enjoy flight sims :pilotfly: getting back on topic, i'd like to see Chinese rotorcraft, perhaps a Z-9 as a follow-on aircraft. we rotorheads are a bit nutty that way https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harbin_Z-9#/media/File:Chinese_Helicopter_Lands_on_HMS_Cornwall_MOD_45150752.jpg -
[REPORTED]UH-1 parking spot on Tarawa Cold Start
ngreenaway replied to Eviscerador's topic in General Bugs
Glad it's not just me. I've been having the same problem trying to write a mission with a gazelle taking off from Tarawa, I always spawn to the side of the ship and go into the drink -
Sure there is, i prefer stability at the expense of waiting a bit longer I see no reason to be on OB . We all pick tye branch we want for reasons that need only be valid to ourselves

Got the plane, now I can fly it sometime next year, whenever the next stable update is
