  1. THANK YOU resetting Environment Data fixed my problem. No new Lighting needed. Your Awesome.
  2. Go to your WMR APP and open SETTINGS and then go down to ENVIRONMENT open it then click on CLEAR ENVIRONMENT DATA. Start DCS World and Play
  3. Crazy My Lighting has not changed at all in the room I use VR in but I will give it a try and turn on an addition light for a test.
  4. MadDog-IC You be the Top Dog of the Neighborhood. Thank You SO Much. Lol I got my Mind right everyone!!!
  5. Here is a description of my symptoms as best as I can think to describe it.... When looking around IN the cockpit, especially looking down trying to find a switch - the whole cockpit floats around and starts "jittering". It does happen when I'm looking straight ahead, but much less so. AS soon as I move my head left or right or especially down - it starts to float around and then snap back, I Also am having this same problem with my HP G2 doing the same thing. I have started to change all the settings 1 at a time in Steam VR, WMR, Open XR, Also i feel it has gotten worse starting with this last Steam VR update. Have you seen the new WMR settings in Steam VR? I'm going crazy now because I have DCS pixel density set to lowest setting then in Steam VR I have DCS app setting to MAX 500 in the game I have everything MAXED to the highest settings MSAA too and Motion reprojection on in open xr at times I get 28 FPS but its butter smooth and the Highest res I've ever had in the HP G2 and it's awesome but this VR BODY Moving head tracking jitter is just a pain to deal with. ALSO I have NO VR boundaries set up in WMR and I'm wondering if THAT is the issue. I get a look left and right then look down message just before Steam VR kicks in now too. It never did that before the Update. I'm still working on one at a time elimination process of all my crazy VR settings in all the aps open for VR. WMR, OPEN XR, STEAM VR. AND DCS World.
  6. Question: I Make a Mission. In that Mission I add 30 Custom Audio *.ogg files to simulate people talking to you during the Mission. All Sound files are in a Custom Folder in DCS file structure I Made and Added. If I UPDATE a Sound file and I DO NOT RE-ADD the New file (WITH THE SAME NAME) to the Mission editor before testing the mission-> The Old file plays with the SAME Name as the new File I just edited. SO ARE all sound files I make imported into the MISSION.MIZ File? If I was to upload the Mission *.Miz file to the server for download. Will all the Custom Sound files be inside the mission *.MIZ file for everyone that downloads it to play? Will they here all of my files for that mission? I don't understand how DCS Mission Editor is working. Thank You for your Help. I need my mind set right. Lol (That's a Joke)
  7. So in he mission editor. After making a Client Aircraft to fly on a Parking lot. Add a Trigger Once event. You don't need a Condition but you can set one up if you want more control. Next you decide how you want the music sent. 2 ways to do this. NOTE. If you use your AM or FM radio and they take Damage your Music will stop. If you want it to play and don't care if it comes from the AM of FM radio Channels then Add a event to trigger on the Action: Sound to Group pick your client name for the aircraft added. Then pick the sound file you made from the directory you put it in. NOTE. You need to know how to make the sound files. What type .ogg and where to put them 1st. if you know that stuff this is how to do it in the Editor. For AM and FM Broadcasting use the RADIO TRANSMISSION Action fill in all the items from AM or FM what Channel # Change WATTS to 10000 so you can fly to the ends of the map and enjoy the music. Pick the file the same way. get in the Pit and change to the channel you set it up on.
  8. I have VR zoom, Cargo Sling loading. Hookup and Disconnect, Open Close Side Doors. Open close all doors. Auto start up, Shut down. (Why Not I got the Room) MY gun sight and lamp, Auto pilot. Throttle assigned to a Rotary Switch so I don't bump into it. On my X56 Throttle I could put Anti Col. Lights on it but I like clicking them inside the Pit.
  9. WOW that video is crazy. It's got to be a bug that needs tweaked. Take off from Parking Hot. Can you imagine if that didn't stop shaking? Lol
  10. I use a X56 system. Throttle is set to a ROTARY SWITCH that I can't bump into as I fly. Why? you only need it for start up and shut down. The Collective is set to Both of the Throttle handles locked together. (I have a very large hand) The throttle works in REVERSE of a Jet and Prop Plane. Push the throttle forward to remove collective pull it back to Add Collective. after you get use to it. try to fly a plane. lol
  11. I had this problem. I was plugged into USB plugs that was the Problem. FIX: moved from my Monitor USB OUTS to my COMPUTER OUTS. No More Ghosting.
  12. It's hard I only use off road and the go to waypoint command for each and every waypoint till the last waypoint. Then go to waypoint 0 but I leave a GAP of about 3 truck lengths between the last WP and WP-0 they still do crazy stuff from time to time but for the most part work well. On road for only on road movement still works fine you just cant go off road.
  13. I have a AAA ZU-23 set up BUT it never opens fire on anything till you're right next to it. The Zone for it's range is marked on the map but it never opens fire with WEAPONS FREE set in the ROE. IT is a Late Activation. I'll try AI ON and Unit Emission ON with it. OR if you know of another way please help.
  14. Dear stupid. It looks like you picked the wrong "conditions" to use. Try "Play Sound to Coalition" to avoid your dilemma with the radio transmission.
  15. Congratulations...Who's Rambo? lol
  16. Try a different way, I attack this same way in my missions. get 1 or 2 hundred feet in the air, fly a oblong circle in a bank around the targets (men) on the ground. ***TIP*** on the ends when you turn add more collective then lower it as you come out of the turn and ride the glide slope to the next turn and repeat. (Glide Slope. dropping collective and slowly moving forward AND dropping in Altitude in a controlled slide to a point you set up in your mind.) Keeping the ships speed at the lowest you can without stalling OR putting it into a hoover. Your side gunner will wipe them out fast. This takes practice. You need to get in close (To Start this type of attack) and be at the 1 or 2 hundred feet height. You use a lot of rudder in the LOW SPEED turns. What I can't teach you is adding more collective or cutting it when needed throughout the entire egg like shape oblong circle. NEVER get below 1 hundred feet, Keep your ship in a BANK all the way around. In my mission I do this around 5 white smoke effects the 10 ground AK-47 men & 2 transport trucks have set off to help hide them as they attack ME and a truck I need to protect. I take them all out in just 2/3s rotation around the smoke effect. AI gunners can see through Smoke effect like its not even there. I can't see any of the 10 men just the 2 trucks parked at each end of the smoke effect. I am on the outside of the smoke NEVER inside it. keep it smooth not jerking it around. Gunners like smooth soft like movement to stay on target. IT TAKES PRATICE to get this down. YOU CAN DO IT!!!
  17. I have a custom mission for my UH-1H HUEY. I am making custom sound files made for the mission that are used on both, FM, & AM radios. Triggered by zones, flags, even spawned in vehicles. (**NOTE** I do not want TEXT Messages with sound files. I use text message as a land and get mission update from SECURITY COMMAND that does not want it sent over radio.) Lol works good till small damage from even just a AK-47 takes out my FM radio. The FM gets damaged more then the AM. is there any way to stop damage to just the radios? OR to play sound files NOT through any Radio Channel? If you are now asking yourself. what's wrong with this guy. LOL Thank You.
  18. I wish the Editor HAD 1 FEATURE and your asking about it. You spend so much time loading up maps to look at your problems that need fixed. It's like they don't want you to make good stuff. lol I don't get not having a viewer attached to see your selected Items you just put down.
  19. GOOD JOB Thanks for the post very cool. DishDoggie Maker of https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3314819/
  20. I Use The Pro Flight x56 Rhino by Logitech: I Was like you are now. SO I wanted to spend my money wisely. I wanted a Good Quality middle of the road 1st time flight system that would give better then low end yet give me time to tell if 1.) I was going to like it. 2.) If I was going to stick with it. Along with the Stick and Throttle I also got the Rudder Peddles because EVERY PLANE AND HELICOPTER use them not your wrist twist. SO I Fly the UH-1 all the time with this setup and love it. THROTTLE is set up to work opposite of a AIRPLANE so push the throttle/collective forward increase the Pitch Angle pulling it back reduces the Pitch Angle Throttle is set to open full by any of the wheel buttons you wish. I use the round wheel on top of the Throttle for my UH-! Throttle as you will only open it full at startup then you should never have to us it again. MY Advice is to buy what you can afford without feeling overdone. WHO CARES it's your MONEY. I FLY ONLY IN VR. This setup works for me and I think I'm a Darn good UH-1 Pilot now. On the STICK I installed the lightest spring provided because on a Helicopter you most always are holding the stick FORWARD of NEUTRAL so the lightest of spring the better to keep wrist strain away. BEST OF LUCK. HAVE FUN. ENJOY. DishDoggie Maker of https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/upload/iblock/56b/Good_Morning_Vietnam.zip
  21. I have a Rift S System Model X570 GAMING X System Type x64-based PC Processor AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor, 3493 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) BaseBoard Product X570 GAMING X Platform Role Desktop Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 32.0 GB RTX 2080 TI 11g 1st I run DCS WORLD standalone not in STEAM. If you run it in Steam this may not help at all (I just don't know) ON THE BACK of the 2080 TI It has 2 HDMI PORTS 2 DISPLAY PORTS 1 VR USB TYPE C DISPLAY PORT (Don't let the USB part fool you its a dedicated Display Port) Plug the Rift S USB CABLE in like normal. I bought a "CABLE MATTERS" BRAND conversion cable to hook to the DISPLAY PORT CABLE of the RIFT S. (advertised to work with Oculus) IT then plugs into the VR Display port USB TYPE C on the back of the 2080 TI Your missions are like what I run in VR I HAD the same issues in VR. My settings are maxed. SO I run Oculus TOOL 1st. Make sure Asynchronous Spacewarp is set to Auto Then start OCULUS Service Menu. Then Start DCS World. This has gave me better FPS and WAY LESS not all but 90% less stutter The Rift S is just not as good of a VR headset as the G2 is. I'll live with it till I jump to a new HP G2, The Turn to the Side View Stutter was just as bad for me till I did the above. I do not understand why no one is testing or talking about the VR Display Port USB TYPE C on the back of the graphics card. I can find no information on it other then I FEEL it is helping out my VR because it is WAY Faster then a Display port. I figure the DP Cable (on the Rift S) is not a Issue in this factor. I did find the the USB TYPE C display port is 1.) a all in one port giving you Audio/Video/Power from just 1 cable and a Display Port Cable when converted to it will pass along the Video portion way faster the the regular Display Port. 2.) You can connect from the USB TYPE C port to a HUB that can be split into 3 monitors you can daisy chain a bunch of monitors on 1 line if you want, You can also run 3 separate videos (NOT THE SAME) to 3 monitors at the same time from a USB TYPE C display port from 1 cable out. That is crazy. So it has to be able to carry a ton of info fast to be able to do that. Bottom line is for me my VR to the RIFT S runs better in DCS World. Till I did this I never seen my FPS on the RIFT S go above 40 FPS. I understand why but now when looking out above the heavy areas I see it jumping up over hitting 70 for short times. I have not tested it on Desert Maps yet. I'm thinking it will do even better on them. Food for thought you may not have a USB TYPE C port on your Graphics card.
  22. My System is System Manufacturer Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. System Model X570 GAMING X System Type x64-based PC Processor AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16-Core Processor, 3493 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. I ordered a "CABLE MATTERS" Display Port converter to USB TYPE C to hook up my Oculus Rift S to my RTX 2080 TI Video Card to see if it would make any difference and it did.. Way less stuttering in heavy loaded mission maps and better FPS Also ????? I see NO one Bench testing this and would love to know why this connection seams to be overlooked and not on anyone's radar or even talked about if it is so much better the a Display Port connection for VR. I hope some of you BIG BRAIN VR Lovers jump on this and post back your findings. I would love to see some bench tests of Display Port vs USB TYPE C Display port connection. If you have a Rift S and a Video Card that has a USB TYPE C port I'm thinking you should try this out too. And the CABLE MATTERS converter was the only one I seen that Said IT WORKS with the OCULUS. I would think they all would but that's the only reason I bought that one from Amazon for about 13 US Dollars.
