  1. v1.2 uploaded, reduced the sharpness of the horizon a little with a touch of haze, this helps mask the outer blueness of the horizon while still keeping good visibility.

Yeah I use both a 48" screen and a Rift S too - as for the grass I have put together a quick mod for the PG map for now https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GoQYXkYilNrsQ4rCL_pCOWpEKjf-QxLz/view?usp=sharing it contains dummy textures that stops the bushes/grass clumps from rendering, just extract contents and drop the two zips into DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\PersianGulf\vfstextures folder.

Update regarding SAM feature, the ASUS Z490-F has had a recent beta BIOS that permits the use of Resize BAR Support the same way the AMD x5xx boards do, just waiting on the software from nvidias side now https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/news/asus-firmware-resizable-bar-support-intel-z490-motherboards
  8. SAM is coming to nvidia, on my ASUS STRIX Z490-F board I updated my BIOS and it now has the Resize BAR Support option https://wccftech.com/nvidia-confirms...mory-sam-tech/ got the RTX 3080, just need the driver to make use of it :)

  16. The past few openbeta versions have been a definite regression despite notes of crash fixes, for weeks/months it's been pretty solid but since the last two updates something is really wrong.
  17. I think you could customise this in your graphics.lua under Stars (line 400) flickerEnabled = true; could be changed to false if you so prefer.

  21. It was merged for a time and then removed, I'll amend any past posts to correct this info.
  22. I had this problem a while ago but after disabling HAGS within Windows 10 it more or less stopped doing this, take a look and see if you have it enabled.
  23. Hi, yes I have updated the terrainoptions41.lua in the PG mod to support latest version of DCS World and I have adjusted the instancer buffer values to allow greater distancFactor amounts.
  24. Mod has been tested and is verifed to be good to use with latest 2.5.6.57264 Open Beta

First post updated, I have had to include a newer terrainoptions41.lua that works with the newer openbeta builds of DCS World, the older inner workings of this file were causing FPS issues and this appears to solve the problem - if you are on the current release build or any older version of DCS World I would advise against using this mod for now until it is known how it might affect it.
