I don’t want VR just yet, I am a soft pomme in Australia and even padded headphones have me sweating like a Virgin in a brothel, I recon full on VR I would need a personal AC unit! Plus I get travel sick bad. I thought projector because I am building a pit and frankly enjoy playing on a 27” 1080p so a projector should be better? What I didn’t like was when I put a 60” plasma in just to test the big screen feel, but it just made everything big, I don’t want to just stretch the 32” screen to 100”, I want the cockpit the same size but with a bigger field of view. My pit will be in a different room to my usual setup as I also play a lot of games like Rise of Industry or Company of Heroes and FPS so I thought I could use the projector when I am flying and donate it to the movie room when I am elsewhere. I was also thinking I need a screen to replace the old 1080p perhaps I could get a decent monitor for the Other games and just move it to the front of the pit, but then is a 27” widescreen 4K better than a 1080p projector?

I am just about to purchase an Acer Predator for the movie room and for the pit. I know a few members are well educated on projectors so was wondering: What sort of curved view (in terms of degrees) could you get from one projector, it says it can project upto 300inches diagonal but suspect 120 is the sweet spot, do these things do wide screen like a letterbox or do they just scale equally in all directions Any knowledge of this particular unit. Is it the FOV settings that keep the Cockpit ‘normal’ sized when projecting bigger world area? Appreciate any help.

Others are available but this is very simple to use. Buy switches for the panel you want to simulate Follow this: ${1} DCS recognises the GPWIZ40 as a controller, so when you setup your controls in DCS - as well as mapping G to Gear, you can map Gear Up to the GPWIZ40 position what is wired to your gear up switch. Tigershark has some great videos so subscribe to his youtube channel and there are 3 or 4 on this.

Im running on an R9 200 just fine. Look at it this way, if you buy the Hornet and it stutters by a new card. Or buy a new card and buy the Hornet. The only difference is you may not need a new card for now! You are going to buy the Hornet anyway, its calling you...

Iceman most of the people here are making their own panels, there are many ways to build you own depending on your skills. If you are only after buying panels finished and plug and play you wont find many as the demand is pretty low and the price is pretty high. Most people are using the Thrustmaster MFDs which are really the only ones on the market. As per the title, I have noticed a few buildings on the map now have symbols attached to them, such as a fuel yard near an airport. Is there a way to set these as a target and how do I trigger a mission win on their destruction? I also want to set a mission where a convoy enters a building and it triggers an observer to read out the position and say some stuff? Thanks

Sorry to jump on your thread but one massive frustration of mine with Track iR is I find it impossible to dogfight due to it jumping from looking up to behind and very limited 10 oclock high and 2 oclock high. How does VR do looking over your right and left shoulder and infront 10 and 2 oclock??
