  1. Meh who cares if its impossible it looks awesome! Wait I see what you did there, DIY canopy on the pit list?
  2. Did i miss the opening post?
  3. Maybe it's just test data as the Hornet isn't out? I think in time DCS-Bios will drive the LED and you should be able to do an export view by editing a .lua file providing you get your LCD recognised as a display by Windows?
  4. I thought he meant 16 segment 7 element displays
  5. Nice, how do you switch from one to the other? Change USB a to USB b...connect monitor a, b, c ........ reboot...etc I am asking as its a similar problem Im thinking, I will only have 1 PC but I probably use other games more than DCS?
  6. I remember playing F-22ADF years ago and some of the missions were to bomb a building, they would show you a picture of the building and when you got nearby you had to lock it up. I dont see how, when GW1 & 2 was all about knocking out the Command and Control infrastructure, it can't be part of DCS. I havnt really followed CA, but you should need a command vehicle, if that get knocked out the groups under its command have skills removed. If the mission select it, a building in the city can be the command center controlling numerous command vehicles, knock that out and the skills get lower again. Heads up a key commander has been spotted in a building, take it out and it diminishes the opfor skills. All part of say a dynamic mission.
  7. Hey JR, one of your MODE buttons on your engine panel display is upside down. Nice render btw!!!
  8. If you read JRs 1:1 Hornet he is going for a LCD Arduino but has not got around to testing them so stay put to his thread. The other stand out F-18 UFC on here made his own displays from LCD, pretty amazing! Can't remember his name though. I'm in the same piace and have thought I might just make the UFC see through where the displays are and export the view to the monitor underneath, it won't look nearly as good but for me, it may be the only thing I can do with my limited skills!
  9. Seventh for dynamic campaign and finalising Combined Arms and the Sea so I get me an AP-3C and hunt subs! You could also use the sub hunting system for a helicopter ASW asset.
  10. Will the DCS Hormuz map include destructible buildings identified to add into a mission for destruction? Kind of how you can knock out a bridge and link it to a trigger?
  11. He posts on here, not seen him around for a while.
  12. Its the Canadian version you get, when the Nimitz it released it will be updated to US Navy version.
  13. Hey please can you advise what 7 segment and displays you chose, I am having difficulty trying to find a 5 digit one that fits the UFC which I think is about 40mm x 13mm. All the fleabay items from china state is a .36inch dimension but I have no idea what dimension it relates to! Shapeways is a good idea, I would be interested in say perhaps the warning indicator panels. Also, sorry about the questions, what are you doing for your jettison buttons, the ones that are rotaries with a push button on top??
  14. Awesome work, I hope mine will look half as good, I get a room in the new house in september just for the pit (and visitors) and I really like what your projector looks like, what type is that?
  15. What temporary fix, did I miss it? The thread you linked is still screaming for a fix??
  16. You got your armament set to auto? Also, your mode may me screwed up, make sure to watch a few youtube videos, i think that you can look at a target with the TGP but actually lase it from the aircraft, so you need to hit TDC on your MFD. And set your FLIR to PT not AR, OSB15 I think. PT it point tracking AR is area.
  17. I thought it was a bug, inverted at 2000 ft and it still hit! I havnt tried it since 2.5 though so perhaps was a bug with 2.x Nevada?
  18. The owner of simpit and Icarus is a member here and is quite helpful if you want projector assistance however, the OP said no projectors! Im thinking triple screen would be best for a simpit, that way if you have them fairly close, it should fill most of your peripheral vision.
  19. Ive been laser bombing moving cars down the Strip in Vegas since release, I actually found that it was so accurate I could drop them in all manner of maneuvers and they still hit. A ship should be fine.
  20. My right toe break constantly stops, the wire is too tight and it pulls the connector from the right toe break pot off the PCB in the main unit.
  21. How do you connect them? Do these Raspberry Pi screens with the HDMI input work without a Raspberry Pi? Like these: https://www.amazon.com.au/MagiDeal-800x480-Capacitive-Display-Raspberry/dp/B078MTKG12/ref=sr_1_7?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1520499777&sr=1-7&keywords=touch+screen
  22. Hey, So as I am struggling for real estate the best I could do for my Cougars was an old 15" display next to my monitor for the 2 MFDs. Works OK but the aircraft/tank/enemy labels etc in the cockpit views have gone haywire, they are like power point wavy fonts miles from the target. Any ideas what settings I have messed up to create this? Thanks
  23. Try looking up a USB3 monitor perhaps, the AOC for $130 is OK providing you have a good MOBO.
  24. Lol, I just thought it was their design!
