Oh please..... I myself only play MP. I managed to have pretty good kill ratio in popular server in the Viper. I've even seen someone had impressive score in a single sortie in the Viper. He managed to kill 6 (all human players in PvP server) with all missiles Viper can carry and safely rtb. And you know what amusing is? Some people even say in this current condition the Viper is already an OP lol. DL is only a tool and in the end its the Pilot skill that matter.

There's a discussion on this forum about whether the SAM mode tagging should triggers RWR. I asked around on "other sim" discord and mostly agree it should not gives lock tone warning beyond certain range. Untill real pilot or ED themself can confirm it we just merely make a guess imo. I'm with you on this. Let them finish and complete existing features first then add something new. The Viper is already deadly machine if you fly it right, quite competitive in MP even without DL and TWS. I also understand the desire of link 16 in our Viper and dare to say its more important than TWS IMHO. Knowing is a power.

+1 I agree with Frostie. Unless you're very low and slow the Hornet DL is too powerfull for you to evade. This was already discussed many times in this forum. Feel free to search :D I suggest you join GS discord to voice your oppinion as we do. Personally I already asked him to look at this spectator view as it could be used to do something unfair but.. not sure what is on his mind, its his server and he's free to do whatever he likes. Lately I rarely fly on this server as the mission never changed AFAIK, spectator can be exploited, its kinda boring to be honest.

If you had to ask then you should not buy it IMHO. Wait untill at least it enters phase 2 in development. It would save you from confusing with bugs and incompleted features, its EA after all. I bought it because I love the Viper since I was a kid and want to support ED. Never cross in my mind not even a second I've ever regret buying it. Its already blast to fly.

I must be a minority here as I love the Viper trim the way it is now. Because for me just little bit touch for the trim then I'm ok. Its probably just a matter of getting used to.

1. It depends on how deep your wallet is and how passionate you are on the Cat. Its beautifully made. HB have done a great job. But tbh its best to fly it with human RIO although you can also fly it with jester. You cant employ LGB while on pilot seat without human RIO right now in MP without a mod IIRC. Thats a big thing for me as I only fly MP. So I mostly fly it as CAP or interceptor in MP to troll Hornets and Flankers with the Phoenix lol. Its fun. 2. Is there a different?

In DCS World it would be depending on AI skill level. Most of time ship can intercept missiles but not bomb. Against Neutrashimy I would suggest you use LGB from high altitude (25k ft just to be safe) send it 4 bombs at once and smile when it crash and burn lol. Good luck

While waiting for editing cmds and data cartridge to be implemented, consider to edit the lua file. Look for YT video from RedKite regarding countermeasure. Its explaining the Hornet but it basically the same for the Viper. BTW, I've had no problem spoofing AR and IR missiles in Viper so far. It also depends on how you employ it thou. Have a nice day. Some people say FC3 F-15 TWS is more like a hybrid AESA radar. Its detection and refresh rate are too good to be true. I don't know if that claim is true or not tbh but I'd like to agree with them.

Make a thread and attach a track so if its reproducable they can confirm its a bug or not. No, I don't have any problem releasing AA weapons after jett the tanks. Are you sure you were not also jett the AG weapons with it? I've not tried with the AG weapons so cant confirm.

Its indeed a bug and need to get fix ASAP. It deserves a hotfix. It ruins the gameplay.

I don't think waiting for a week or two for Hornet tws implementation its not big deal IMHO. I've waited years since Lomac day for the Hornet. Besides TWS is not that great anyway. Its nice feature but I wont rely on it. Whats so fuss about it. Viper gets TWS first is fine for me. Hornet has DL, Ltws to counter it, 10 spamraams.... lol. Not big deal IMHO. Just my 2 cents. "The other sim" ARH missile warning sound assuming its realistic kinda awful IMHO. It sound like weak pulse and it could easily distracted by other warning sound. So be prepared for the real one when it get implemented. F-15 warning sound is much better.

Because of money maybe? Share the project to other company to keep it alive and competitive. Same thing happened with USAF new F-15 order to Boeing.

I agree. Actually when ATFLIR becomes available I would mount it on the center if its possible because I don't wanna lose one AIM-120. Most of missions in MP don't require you to stay long in the air and I never feel the need to do some AAR. Better fuel management is all you need.
