My experience with the upgrade was flawless. I had 1.5 installed and 2.0 open beta. When I had opened up 2.0 on Friday, software asked me if I wanted to upgrade to 2.5 and if I wanted to keep or delete the old installs. Worked perfectly.

No. They just rebuilt it. Will concentrate on new maps. What you see is what you get.

I'm assuming your profiles worked in your DCS Open Alpha. Go into your C/Users/Name/Saved Games/DCS.openalpha/Config/Input files. Copy the "Input" folder into your C/Users/Name/Saved Games/DCS/Config folder and that should take care of it for you. You should then be able to work with your profiles as usual. So looking forward to this myself and for the developers. This has been a long hard slog but flight sim history is in the making.

Just wanted to confirm that I too have noticed that under the special options section of Tacview, no options are available. Eagerly awaiting ED's fix on this so I can continue to use this superb tool.

Just started re-flying the Mirage-2000C myself tonight. I do so love this module. However, noticed same thing you all are mentioning; I cannot read the HUD in daylight flying Nevada. I mapped some buttons on my HOTAS (HUD brightness up, HUD brightness down) but those commands do not seem to work. Is this going to be fixed anytime soon?

I would love Korean war stuff as well. Those two modules are just superbly done. Sadly, I don't think much will happen with these until there is a map module of Korea focused on that time frame.

When I unload my troops anywhere on map, they get out and stand in a parade line formation. Anyone else see this? Been trying to figure out how to get them to run somewhere after I unload them.

The gazelle also has a sun visor for the pilots. I believe the key is "G" but when you hit it you pull the visor down on the helmet. Pretty neat.

Noticed with the upgrade to 2.1 while flying a dark, dawn mission I made that the landing light shows to be on in the F2 view but while inside cockpit it does not light up ground in front of you when taking off or landing. Definite bug. This was in the Nevada map. I have not checked Normandy map.

LOL. It is definitely not a bug but I too agree with Wrecking Crew. Would be nice to have civilian pilot fatigues with the civilian skin with the Huey.

Curios, but have you guys tried to actually man the side gunner positions yourself? I've noticed since the upgrade that I cannot access the side gunner positions anymore.

Since the upgrade to the DCS Open Alpha 2.1, I cannot access the side gunner's positions via the 3 and 4 keys. Pilot and co-pilot positions can be accessed but not the side gunners.
