You should test WINE 4.0 as that is now released! I'm not going to play on DCS running in Linux but try to use it as a server so graphics does not matter to me. Sound should be no problem. Thanks for testing it out!

Yes very important! You need to install Virtual Audio Wire on headless servers! Just google it. Also, remember to set the Program Execution to Foreground applications on Windows Server.

Yes you can use it like this of course. If I have problems after an DCS patch I usually rename the main folder in saved games and let DCS recreate the files and then move old files in steps. In 90% of the time ther are no problems after update so just go fly :pilotfly:

There is no need to use a MOD's tool on MOD's that goes directly to the Saved Games folders. Those files are never touched by ED.

Configuration Roots folder is the DCS version root folder you are trying to MOD. Like: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\

What CPU do you have? How much memory do Linux have?

The interesting thing would be to have DCS run as a dedicated server in WINE. Did you try to host a MP mission from that setup?
