  1. He totally lost me when he absolutely praised Varjo's first attempt at Motion Reprojection as being awesome. It was absolutely horrible and I have no idea how could have praised something like that. In fact after a few updates it is better but still not good enough for me to want to use it.
  2. Congrats! Wait till you see eye tracked DFR at work in DCS with the Aero.
  3. Fully agree!!
  4. Wow , very nice price drop on an incredible headset that still is excellent.
  5. Some nice equipment there.
  6. Nice. I freed up a few buttons on HOTAS when I got Point CTRL, will keep in mind if I ever need more. Edit: No idea how I ended up responded to a post from June lol.
  7. Yikes.
  8. If you are using Open XR then just use the Open XR Toolkit provided by @mbucchia it has all kinds of settings you can mess with.
  9. Ah ok when you said "finally a Pico 4" I thought that was what you ended up with. Good deal, Aero is awesome!
  10. At first I thought you were talking about Aero ( probably due to thread title).

I myself have it on only occasionally.
  12. Awesome much thanks! A/C is busted in my office room , they are supposed to be out Wed. afternoon to fix it. Probably won't be able to try out till after then. Edit: Got it installed no problem, good to go for when I can fly again. Looking forward to the auto update going forward, that will be nice!

  14. It is beneficial with faster ones as well. I use it in my Aero and 4090 with DCS and the performance gain was - huge!
  15. I would bet you would be fine. Even monitors can trigger that.
  16. Eye tracked DFR? Yep, big time.
  17. Yeah Quest 3 is not even out yet. Ok I get what you are saying, I just use the regular Kneeboard. I use Kneeboard Builder to import my files into the kneeboard and view them in the headset as needed. For instance on using say a certain weapon in the Hornet, I have those particular kneeboard pages ready at the go for reference viewing in the headset if needed. Works pretty good for me. Start up procedures per aircraft I do the same, etc. I have flown several campaign in the Hornet, Spit, and now working on some in P-51 and have not needed to raise headset to look at anything.
  18. Ok but I am curious what would that feature mean to a flight simmer? When I put on my headset for some combat flight simming, I want to be fully immersed visually in what I am doing in that world. Like I am actually there.
  19. For DCS I would only consider a headset with eye tracking currently to handle dynamic foveated rendering unless cost prohibitive. It makes such a huge difference in performance.
  20. Aero is fantastic for sure. If you have the funds though without issue and would like one now certainly Quest Pro seems to be pretty decent.
  21. Eye tracked DFR goes a long way in getting closer to that. Mine are very high with many settings maxed out. The technology just needs to get in more and less costly headsets. Not sure when/if that might happen, it is still a huge niche within many niches really. VR seems to be a little stagnated at this time. It really needs a revitalization - and not necessarily from Meta.
  22. I saw a huge difference between my G2 and Aero almost immediately first time I used the Aero.
