  1. It probably would have helped your cause if you had stated you were running a Mod that affects head positioning projection from the get go. Just sayin
  2. Play with the positioning of your 2 stations. I have mine diagonal to each other. Front left - rear right. Can't say I ever have tracking issues. Also I don't know that I ever put my hand on the side of the HMD - obviously you risk covering up some sensors. Once I have my HMD on I have not reason to put hands on again till ready to take it off.
  3. He is praising the automatic eye tracking and foveated rendering of the Crystal - which is one of the many features that has not yet been enabled for the retail product. So I stopped watching. Typical Pimax style of publicity.
  4. If it appears to be running fine and gives you a good experience - then it is running fine. Sometimes I think we all tend to get into the weeds a little further than we really need to. I have had mine set like that along with my graphics options for some time now, rarely touch them now.
  5. I use 39, and have Varjo DFR set to .8 Peripherary and 1.4 Focus. Very pleased with the results.
  6. The Varjo Foveated Rendering is a little more streamlined just for Varjo and also you can not use the Open XR Toolkit with it. For me I like things somewhat simple and it just works very well for me.
  7. Yeah I am happier with Varjo Foveated, it just works so well and is simple.
  8. I give up... Trust me, Aero uses Steam VR for tracking purposes. It is just running in background. Also read the Varjo link I provided.
  9. https://varjo.com/use-center/get-started/varjo-headsets/setting-up-tracking/steamvr-tracking/#:~:text=Your Varjo headset uses a,stations to track your headset. See those two cameras lit up in the upper right of your image? That is the Lighthouse Trackers. Try unplugging them and see what happens... Those cameras rely on Steam VR.
  10. Yes in the background of course, how else would you have Lighthouse tracking?
  11. What is DTC?
  12. And you really do not even have to launch Steam VR, it will do so on it's own in the background.
  13. It is only now starting to approach 2 years since release and still is considered a top of the line headset even by today's standards. Have not seen any info giving any clue on a V2 so I expect it will be a while if ever.
  14. And for a real treat check out Vaicom Pro for Voice Attack. It is freeware now. One profile for all.
  15. In the UI layer of controller assignment menu. Click on the down arrow by the aircraft listing and scroll all way up I believe it is now to find the UI Layer. You can bind VR Receneter and two levels of VR Zoom in there. Note it is a global setting and not aircraft specific.
  16. Assign VR-Recenter view to a button on HOTAS. Press it when getting into cockpit. Easy peasy. I would much rather press a button myself.
  17. Have you tried just re-cententering the VR view in DCS? You will want to bind vr-recenter to a button on your HOTAS. Mine always starts offset similar to that and I just hit that button first thing when I get into DCS.
  18. Really - that is interesting I do not remember reading where they had added MT to the release version yet.
  19. Ok thanks, in my case sometimes it is best to leave things be when they are working good. I will stay with Varjo Foveated a little while longer.
  20. Do you guys that moved to QVFR from Varjo Foveated find it much better, other than of course being able to use the Toolkit?
  21. No currently MT only available in Open Beta.
  22. I run a 9900k at 5.1 GHz with a 4090 GPU and the gain for me was huge.
