  1. Hmm not sure what closed open beta means, but assuming same open beta as me: Put a shortcut on your desktop for the DCS World Open Beta- bin.mt executable. It should launch by default in native Open XR. You want the bin-mt shortcut.
  2. Depends on the headset and it's spacing. You can also get prescription lens inserts for just about any headset out there. I use them with my Aero and love them.
  3. Looks like it. The official Oculus LInk Cable is quite good , I used one for a while with my original Quest mainly to test the early access to Oculus Link tech.
  4. Hmm interesting post. Guess should welcome new member with one post for this review. Interesting observations.
  5. Yeah Reflected's campaigns are awesome. It is his P-51 Campaign I am starting on. I have flown his Spit campaigns.
  6. Sure all single player campaigns. Currently only with the Hornet and the Spitfire, but trying to broaden my horizons a little with the Apache but got a ways to go. Have done several campaigns with the Hornet - and three so far with the Spitfire. Also starting one with the P-51.
  7. I found MT to be very beneficial, and especially when combined with quad view for DFR/eye tracking. Keep in mind MT is still pretty new just being released this year by ED, so I would think improvements will be coming down the pike. I think you will likely be pleased with the results when you get it.
  8. Sure I have assigned buttons to mouse clicks in the UI layer and used in the past. Handy with VR so do not have to fumble for mouse. This was before i got Point CTRL.
  9. Seems smoother to me. Also note I do not use reprojection.
  10. Well they are tied together I believe as I understand one needs Quad View to have DFR. At least that is my impression. I am sure @mbucchia will clarify if different.
  11. Probably not, I have not seen many comment anywhere that they have the eye tracking version. I did see one guy on youtube comment he had it - but he was a youtube reviewer and had been sent a Crystal no charge for review.
  12. I really could not comment on how QP camera compares with Aero. Probably best to have comments from QP users using eye tracked DFR with DCS. I can say I have not seen much negativity on it.
  13. I will tell you for me it is completely seemless, I do not notice it at all. In my Varjo Aero, it made a big difference in performance. I now run it's middle area at highest settings for the Aero, it is gorgeous and very smooth. Can not really compare frame timing but certainly a nice improvement. This is the biggest performance gain for DCS in VR I have seen to date. I would certainly recommend anyone using DCS a lot and looking at a VR Headset to go for one with eye tracking just for this feature. I think currently that is Aero, Quest Pro, Pimax Crystal ( still in beta).
  14. IMHO making a PC-VR headset that is reliant on a battery that can not easily be charged or sustain a charge whilst playing is an incredibly stupid mistake. And from what I understand not easily swapped out. That would certainly be a deal breaker for me as well, as I do usually several hours a day.
  15. Interesting, has to be good for VR. https://www.roadtovr.com/varjo-rvct-ste-deal-cole-engineering-flight-sim-training/

    Best Hotas

You will not go wrong with Virpil or VKB. I have both and have used them for a long time. Both are excellent hardware. Currently preferring my Virpil setup.
  17. Another "free of charge" headset review praising the eye tracking, which coincidentally is not available yet in release version. That's all I needed to see. Basically just a features read off list with praises.
  18. It makes no difference as you saw, always been that way.
  19. Mine are about 10 clock and 4 oclock. If that does not help open a support ticket, however they will likely want you to clean out OXRNS first.
  20. What do you mean "no link" ? Did you totally clean out XRNS to test tracking? What version of stations do you have? How are they placed? Two version 2 Base Stations placed diagnally with no reflective surfaces should do well.
  21. Saw this posted by Pimax over on another thread, I only copied the eye tracking part of the post: Disclaimer - I do not have Crystal so I have no idea myself. You may want to contact Pimax support.
