  1. I have 9900k and 4090 GPU, DCS runs great on Windows 11 for me. Can't say I saw an increase in performance, but no decrease or issues with it. I only run DCS Open Beta, not sure what you are referring to with Alpha? DCS Open Beta - MT version does use as standard, it is a seperate executable than DCS.exe
  2. Does not sound right - you may want to start a support ticket with Varjo if you are sure you have appropriately installed the mbucchia software.
  3. Suggest you clean all of the Mbuccia files out and start fresh with them,. Carefully make sure you get the correct files installed. I am running OpenXR Varjo Foveated 0.2.0 with no issues at all. However this is the version you can not use the OpenXR Toolkit with.
  4. Ah this is so awesome to see! I was just thinking the other day we have 2 Spit campaigns from ya but only one P-51. I have just started learning the P-51 and am a couple missions into Blue Nose Bastards. I will most definitely be very much looking forward to this one!
  5. I ended up going with an AKRacing Core Series EX Gaming Chair back in Dec 2020. Been very happy with it so far. I replaced the castors with ones that had locking mechanism on them so I could easily lock the chair in place when flight simmming. I also got a Monster Tech Mount for my Virpil Collective for it, and have the mounting plate attached to this chair. Collective easily attaches/detaches when need to use.
  6. Ok so I waited and made sure I was the last guy to take off, all worked proper that way - all 6 flights were airborne and we were able to fly the mission proper. I got one bandit but unfortunately ran out of fuel while still over enemy territory so it was a draw. Going to have to try again and focus on fuel conservation. Thanks,
  7. Not really sure as I never see them take off, will try again and pay closer attention and let ya know
  8. No worries, I am as well...
  9. I am running the latest Open Beta MT of DCS. Beware! Beware! Spit campaign. I have flown it in the past and do not recall this issue that is now present for me. Sortie 1 - Bomber Escort. According to briefing there should be 6 flights of four in the group I am in. However there only ends up being two flights of four. I make sure I take off at the appropriate time right behind my leader as instructed. But we do not get more than 2 flights of four for this mission. And when the action starts, we are way - way outnumbered. @Reflected can you please take a look at this Sortie 1 in this campaign in latest Open Beta ? I have passed the mission by managing to escape the carnage and get back to base, but would rather not do it that way. Just two flights of 4 we don't stand a chance. Thanks,
  10. Not sure what you are getting at here. Or where his personal liking came in. I simply disagreed with his assertion it was the best headset currently as imho there really is not one, due to the vast differences in users and what they look for in a headset. Not a big deal really just expressing my opinion.
  11. Yeah that would be nice for sure.
  12. There is absolutely no such thing as a "Best VR Headset". It does not exist. What there is however, is a "Best for me VR Headset". Big difference. Everyone is different and looks for different things.
  13. Reverb G2 was an awesome headset for me back when I was running it. Never had any problem with it.
  14. I am somewhat suprised it is taking them this long even especially after that teaser pic they posted on their forums a while ago now.
  15. Oh it will trust me, if it does as much with the Crystal as it does with the Aero.
  16. Correct , zero issues running DCS in my Aero using DCS MT and Varjo Foveated 0.2.0. - no OpenXR Toolkit. Gigabyte 4090 OC. Nvidia Driver 536.40. Yes latest Varjo Base and firmware. DCS-MT and my shortcut uses "D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_OpenXR Although I think the force_OpenXR nomenclature is no longer necessary as the MT uses Open XR natively. But I just leave it in there. I have VR checked in the DCS settings.
  17. Load times have improved significantly - thank you very much!
  18. This - is why VR is no where near close to mainstream yet.
  19. I too run DFR with my Aero and am not running the Open XR Toolkit at this time. Since everything working so good for me have not tried the new Toolkit version.
  20. Yeah it needs a little thing called eye tracking. And yes if anything like it was with the Aero it will be a complete game changer.
  21. That includes the two APB's? Also what headset was it fitted for?
  22. They have that working now when running in PC-VR mode? I know at one time it was only in stand alone mode, but has been quite a long time since I ran an Oculus headset. Being able to select a switch by just looking at it, I do not see how that could work at all. I would rather use a mouse. However I do have Point CTRL I use every day with DCS, and absolutely love it. It freed up a few buttons for me as well. Bad part is currently production is stalled with over a year wait, hopefully it will resume again soon. I waited right at a year for mine which I got early this year, and it was so worth the wait. I also am on the waiting list for a second unit as well, just to have if needed.
  23. I would never do that with my Aero. It is safe if just at the home screen as the headset will go into standby mode. I oftentimes leave mine like that throughout the day when I am using off and on during the day. With a game being displayed who knows, that I would not do myself.
