  1. yeah,I checked the both(however I'm not sure if I checked the external view in the track file, but I did check it before the track flght),and I was flying in the air, after the flaps got locked I flied into a deep dive accelerate to above 250kts,nearly 300kts I think, and the flaps still got locked down. As soon as I turned off the EMER retract, the flaps got retracted by the overspeed protection feature.
  2. Yeah,I agree with that. But when in DN position,it will retract the flaps about 4 degrees, not to 4 deg. For example if it was previous in 30° down the Emergency Retract will retract it to around 25° down and lock it in there. In MER position or UP it works just exactly like what you described.
  3. Hi,the Flaps Emergency Retract won't retract the flaps when flaps are in DN position There was an old post about the Emergency Retract will deploy flaps if the flaps are in MVR or UP. Now bugs in that post is fixed, and it works perfectly fine when it's in MVR or UP. But there is a new bug when it's in DN position. If in DN position, the Flaps Emergency Retract will only retract the flaps 3-4° then lock the flaps in that position no matter how fast you fly instead of retracting the flaps using airflow. Flaps Emergency Retract won't retract the flaps when flaps are in DN position.trk Hope the team could take a look at this, thanks.
  4. Hi,it seems that in A-10C II,the Emergency trim is inverted in pitch. There was a post about this but it's in the controller sub form,I'm using mouse clicking. If push emergency trim hat to NOSE UP position(using mouse clicking),the aircraft will pitch down. If push emergency trim hat to NOSE DN position(using mouse clicking),the aircraft will pitch up. And the old post It happens in both old and new A-10C, now it works fine in the old A-10C,only happens in the A-10C II Emergency Trim is inverted in pitch.trk Hope the team could take a look, thanks.
  5. That frequency repeater is not wired to the RED radio IRL,thus it will always display ********. It used to display the RED radio frequency but it was a mistake and have been fixed now.(There is a special option for it in the settings if you want it works in the old way) And you can always use the red radio even with TAF installed, just make sure you turn the main power knob to M(for radio communication) instead of F1(for TAF datalink)

  7. Recently, during a normal night flight in the Mirage,I accidentally pressed the rudder trim paddle when I was trying to press some other button(because it was too dark and I was too lazy to turn on the flash light ) Then I noticed that the rudder trim actually trimmed the rudder a lot, almost to it's side limit,so the aircraft become really hard to control, and it also trims in a very FAST speed thus make it really hard to return it back to center. I also tried to recenter it by using the autopilot, the rudder is recentered when the AP is on,but it will revert back to previous trimmed-position as soon as AP is turned off. If my memory is correct, somewhere in the manual, it says something like the rudder trim will be canceled out by FBW yaw stabilization during normal operation. So the rudder trim will do some sort of "auto-recenter" in my situation I guess? TL;DR: The rudder trim trimming speed is really fast thus makes recenter it really difficult The rudder trim won't be canceled out by FBW while in normal flight. Track: Small issue about the rudder trim.trk (by the way a small question, when I reread the manual to recheck my memory,I noticed that there is a feature which will increase the rudder authority when the gear is down, but now in the sim with a speed below 230kts(or even 260kts),we already get a rudder authority which covers the whole full rudder travel range, isn't this a little wired)
  8. I also frequently toggle the radar between different modes in my flight, but don't have any issue on it. Maybe save a track next time so we can understand the problem. Some small addition for the DECOL warning, you can double press the Autopilot Standby Mode button after you have touched down on main landing gear but before the nose gear have dropped on the ground. In this way the DECOL warning will never come up on landing.
  9. Hi,this is a small detail related to "EXTERNAL # EMPTY" advisory on EUFD. Right now in the sim,the "EXTERNAL # EMPTY" advisory will always be displayed on EUFD after the related Auxiliary Fuel Tank is empty even when the FUEL page is opened on MPD. Thanks to the information provided by our kind SME Raptor9 This advisory shouldn't be displayed on EUFD when the FUEL page is opened, and if it's displayed on EUFD,open the FUEL page will acknowledge/clear it from EUFD Here is the track: EXTERNAL # EMPTY advisory with FUEL page open..trk Hope the team could take a look at this when time permits, many thanks .
  10. By the way,I did another test related to "EXTERNAL # EMPTY" advisory, which is already in the game now.But it will show up on EUFD despite the FUEL page is open, and can't be acknowledged/cleared from EUFD(by reopening the FUEL page) I don't know whether should I start a new topic on this,so I put the track here anyway..... Here is the track:EXTERNAL # EMPTY advisory with FUEL page open..trk
  11. Wow,didn't know that, thanks for the addition information.
  12. First off all, this is a really really minor detail,I didn't want to put a new topic about this at the beginning. But I think the whole fuel system is very well simulated by the manual if not consider system failures,(great work on that) and this is the only question left to me. Issue :Now the "E" icon is displayed in the quantity window of FWD and AFT fuel tank when they are empty But in the TM251-10 ,it only mentions the "E" icon for the INTERNAL/EXTERNAL AUXILIARY FUEL TANKs ,but not for the FWD and AFT fuel tanks, and it also says that the quantity readings for the FWD and AFT have a range start from 0. (2.60.6 Status Windows-----a. Forward (FWD) Fuel Cell Quantity/b. Aft (AFT) Fuel Cell Quantity) And the general color application of MPD is that White means Attention,Yellow means Cautions/Hazards (2.22.1 MPD Color Application.) Before the FWB and AFT tanks is empty,we will get a YELLOW caution low level reading. Getting one of either FWD or AFT tank empty is not good while in flight,so replacing the YELLOW caution reading with WHITE attention E is not a good idea for FWD and AFT tank. Maybe it should be a "YELLOW 0" instead of a "WHITE E" for the FWD and AFT fuel tank when they are empty? Any chance get this checked by the team? Low priority of course. Will be much appreciated The E icon for FWD and AFT fuel tank when they are empty..trk
  13. Hi,it's just a small detail Issue:Now in the sim there is no advisory when Internal Auxiliary Fuel Tank is empty Expect: There should be a "CTR TANK EMPTY" Message on the EUFD and related MPD WCA/advisory page Evidence:TM 251-10--------2.139-------ADVISORY MESSAGES--------Table 2-15. Advisory Messages (should be at the button of page 2-161 I guess) Here is the track: Missing advisory message when Internal Auxiliary Fuel Tank is empty.trk Many thanks
  14. And for some reason if you don't like it,you can turn it off by deselect this on PCA panel It's default to on when AA weapon is selected.
  15. Nice small detail, thanks for the supplement.
  16. Nice and detailed. Now I can understand what they did in those IRL start video. Thanks a lot for the clarification.
  17. This happened to me once, that time I just forgot the holding modes were left on when I switched to the front seat.
  18. wow,I got it. Thanks for the detailed explanation Really appreciate.
  19. I guess that George is fighting the SCAS att/alt hold. Someone needs to teach George how to turn off those "autopilot"s.
  20. Then I guess I have to use the cursor as a work around. Thanks a lot.
  21. It seems that right now in the sim the only way to turn off the NOE/APPR mode is deselecting the related MPD option on the A/C UTIL page. But that's quite inconvenient. I tried the "Stabilator Control Switch - Depress" command but it didn't work out. Is there anyway to quickly deselect the NOE/APPR mode on the Apache? Any help? Thanks
  22. Hi In the game manual, regarding post start procedures, there is an item called "SEC CALC & SEC CARB emergency modes tests" But how to properly perform this test? I watched some videos about IRL start of Mirage 2000-D/2000-5 on YouTube trying to figure out what this test is,but didn't get too much, though other tests could be clearly seen in those videos. Especially after this awesome engine update,I become more curious about this. I guess I can't be the only guy who prefer flying by the book, right? Any help?thanks in advance.
  23. IIRC,they won't be removed automatically. I think they are preplanned and are copied to the aircraft system via DTC at mission start.
  24. It's in today's patch. I just jumped in the Mirage after the update today and this note regarding the engine popped up.
