It's in today's patch. I just jumped in the Mirage after the update today and this note regarding the engine popped up.

wow ,can't find a word to express my like and appreciation So many things have been added to the Mirage this year.The details on it are already blowing my mind。 And thanks for the “MISSION ACCOMPLIE” livery,it's because of your hard work that we can still get this beautiful plane flying in our sim after its retirement. Good job and keep going.

I think it works pretty much the same as one in the fixed wing aircraft. In pitch: climb or dive In roll: roll right or roll left The Attitude Mode will try maintaining you current attitude in both pitch and roll with in it's limit.

Hi,it's just a small detail which related to Internal Fuel Quantity display. Issue: Right now the color of Internal Fuel Quantity on the A/C-FUEL PAGE(at the lower left corner) seems to be based on the quantity of internal fuel ,if the quantity is below 500lbs,then its color will turn to yellow. Expect: I think it should based on the state of either FWD or AFT fuel cell instead,if any of these 2 tanks sensed a low fuel state,then the Internal Fuel Quantity on the Fuel Page will be displayed in yellow. Evidence:TM -251-10-----------2.60.6 Status Windows----------c. Internal (INT) Fuel Quantity Status Window Here is the track:The color of Internal Fuel Quantity on the AC FUEL PAGE won't turn yellow when there is a low fuel condition in either FWD or AFT fuel cell.trk Hope the team could take a look at this when time permits. This may not related to the topic,but a small question here. Which direction will the Apache tend to roll in a low G situation? Just curious.

Personally,I think it was the low G maneuver killed you,(edit,this was wrong) , I think it was not the SCAS killed u. You can give another try,but this time turn off the SCAS first ,then fly fast,keep collective down and push control stick all the way forward and see if the same roll happens Anyway fly that fast and aggressively is not good for heli

Hi,it's just another small detail. Issue: The Engine limits Count-Down Timers on ENG and FLT page are not reset in order as power is reduced. Expect: After the engine reach a higher limit,the timer for lower limit will still be counting in the background. As power is reduced from the higher limit to a lower limit,the timers for higher limit should be reset and replaced by the timers for lower limit. Evidence:TM 251-10-----2.48.4 Count-Down Timers------NOTE Here is the track:The Engine limits Count-Down Timers on ENG and FLT page are not reset in order as power is reduced.trk For example ,in the track: (Athough it applies to all timers but there are too many timers showed up in the track,please focus on the TGT one,and start from the second time when the TGT tape enters the yellow zone ) First the engine TGT reached 810℃,a 30 mins timer (timer 1) started counting down, then the engine TGT reached 870℃,a 10 mins timer (timer 2) started counting down and replaced the timer 1. Then after the engine TGT was lowered to a value lower than 870 but higher than 810℃, the timer 2 was still displayed on the MPD and didn't be reset until TGT is lowered below 810℃. In this situation,the timer 1,which keeps counting in the background should pop up and replace the timer 2 (For FLT page the timer itself won't be showed but it will affect whether the TGT value is displayed on it.) Much appreciate. The Engine limits Count-Down Timers on ENG and FLT page are not reset in order as power is reduced.trk

I used up every buttons on my HOTAS, WASD ,↑↓←→ ,,./; combo on the keyboard and 2 PS4 controllers, and finally got everything mapped. A lot buttons on the CPG Hand Grips are mouse clickable ,I think at least for the CPG station,you can still messing around by mouse clicking without binding anything to your HOTAS.

Issue: MPD ENG page won't return from In-Flight Format to Ground Format if the engine starters switches are moved to START or IGN ORIDE (while ENG page is already in In-Flight Format. ie:during in-flight engine restart) Expect:It should switch from In-Flight Format to Ground Format any time the engine starter is engaged Evidence: DCS AH-64D Manual------Cockpit Overview----MPD-----Aircraft, Engine (ENG) Page (should be the first paragraph on page 95) and also TM 251-10-----2.48.1 ENG Page Ground Format---------b. Just another like here. I already really enjoy the view when flying between those snow capped mountains,despite according to the road map they are still in very early stage development. Can't image what it will be like when it's finished great job

Sorry,it's hard for me to help you with some of the questions. But there is a hover mode for Apache. You need to manual fly the aircraft into a hover and trim it well,pushing the 4 way trim button to the left while your ground speed is below 5kts,then the aircraft will hold the hover for you within it's limit. You can check the airspeed display is boxed and an attitude hold message displayed on EUFD to conform the "auto hover" is on. Remember it only works when your ground speed is less than 5kts,otherwise you will enter other "autopilot" modes. And for the MAX airspeed I think it's depends on a lot of complicated stuffs.The weapon load will affect it a lot of course. But I believe the Apache now in the sim is already a pretty fast heli when compared to other helis in DCS.

Hi,It's just a small problem,and I know you devs are still working hard on the some systems, But since the switching logic is already in the sim,I decide to post it here. Issue: The Single Engine TGT Limiter switching logic is based on the on/off of the failed engine. Expect:I think it should based on torque output of that engine,if the torque output of that engine drops below 51%,then the TGT limiter will be changed from 867 to 896℃ Evidence: TM 251-10 -------2.43.1 Electrical Control Unit 701-----line 12 (something like :when opposite engine torque is 51% or below, contingency power is automatically enabled) (I know this is for ECU on 701 engine instead of DEC on 701c,so please also check ---on the same page,right next to it---2.43.3 Digital Electronic Control 701C-----line 5---- it says the DEC of 701C has the same functions of the ECU on 701 engine expect something else not related to this) Here is the track:Single Engine TGT Limiter switching logic.trk In the track: First,I lowered the power lever of right engine so the torque output of that engine is dropped below 51%,and on the Engine page the TGT of the opposite engine rose to around 867℃ but is limited at that value. Then I retarded the lever to idle,the TGT is still limited at that value.(electricity was out for a second due to low engine rpm I think) Finally I shut down the right engine,and the TGT of the opposite engine immediately rose a lot above that limit despite I didn't touch anything else. Then I crashed into the sea. Thank you for your hard work

From the recent weekly news,ED will start doing a full review of the flight control system on Hornet after the new FCS update for the Viper is done,the reversion modes should be covered in this review.It should be soon I guess

Hi I find some clear evidence from the HAF F-16 manual(T.O. GR1F16CJ1) , it's at ----Section 6 Flight Characteristics----page 6-9------PITCH DEPARTURE--------Paragraph 3. An inverted pitch departure happens at negative AOAs when the AOA significantly exceeds the negative g limiter.During the departure, the pitch axis of the FLCS commands the horizontal tails to full trailing edge UP to try to return AOA to the normal.Pitch stick commands are ineffective unless the MPO switch is used. The descriptions about the negative g limiter are in the same manual,Section 1-------page 1-121---------AOA/G Limiter-----Paragraph 2. Also descriptions about the Yaw Rate Limiter is on the same page. Hope it can help.

Right now the "Missile Advance" is the only one button with function but not clickable on CPG TEDAC Hand Grips I think. It would be nice to add it as a clickable button to CPG RHG,so we could save one joystick button for something more frequently used. And another thing is that you can not find a keybind action for it in the CPG RHG category,there is only one "Missile Advance" action for the button on the Collective,but not for the RHG one. Hope the "Missile Advance" button on the CPG RHG could be added to the keybind list if possible. Thanks

reported C AUX on A/C FUEL page is not cursor selectable

I'm not sure if this is intended or not Issue:In the sim,the C AUX option on A/C FUEL page is not cursor selectable and won't become bold when cursor is on it,it can now only be selected via bezel button. Expect:It should be cursor selectable and will become bold when cursor is on it like every other MPD option. (Sorry for spawning bug topics like these all over the forum, but I really love the Apache and really want it to be the best sim) C AUX on AC FUEL page is not cursor selectable.trk -

It's just a small issue Issue: If a video underlay is selected on one MPD, and ASE autopaging to TSD occurs to that MPD,the last viewed TSD underlay will be displayed in the sim Expect: If a video underlay is selected,ASE autopaging to TSD of that particular MPD should change the TSD underlay to stick map with video underlay instead.
