"walk the throttles" is a term used when you use very small incremental movements, left, right, left etc on the throttle. Not necessarily applicable to only twin engine aircraft. I think it reflects more the micro movement of moving the throttle so you don't have large jerky movements when small power setting changes are needed. This term was used a few times during air to air refuelling and close formation flying. I hope that makes sense?

  3. It really isn't a simple copy and paste.
  4. I feel for you bro. If it makes you feel any better I have that week off work.
  5. Good news! At least we know now. This really is gonna be one great module. Been waiting years for this and it will provide years of fun.

  9. Great stuff many thanks
  10. Yep, that looks like quite a useful page especially for longer flights and the relatively low range high fuel burn rate etc. Interesting too.
  11. Great video. Really enjoyed it.
  12. I think I will give it a miss this time
  13. I should really just read the whole thread first. I spent ages watching those videos trying to figure out you can tell the difference between 4 hz and 5 hz. You owe me half an hour buddy!
  14. I just tried it in VR and after adjusting in game seat height I found the sweet spot where I could see all the HUD. I also have a key bind that resets VR view which helps a lot. If I feel I am to close or to far I adjust my seat position out of game and the reset vr view. Takes a few seconds to do with no problems. I like the way they have changed it. Feels more natural.
  15. I love the fact that we're discussing HUD tints. What a great simulation this is going to be.
  16. I purchased this a couple of weeks ago and have only recently had the time to read the mission briefings and fly. I'm really enjoying it and want to say thank you for putting so much effort into the provided documents. It really enhances the feel and immersion to the missions. For anyone else reading this. A voice command setup for the radios is a great tool for stuff like this.

  18. Is that Stalingrad Il 2 sturmovik ?

  20. Yeah we will get right on it, as soon as we have have erased the memories of the 52,023 people who have seen it on YouTube. Gonna take some time buddy so hang in there.
  21. I purchased this today and have had a great time reading through the well written briefings and documents. Had a go at the first few missions and can't wait to check out the rest. Brilliant job.
  22. Hi Nick, I'm pretty sure the controls default to what they should be. The only thing you have to change is the hat switch on the joystick to trim. It has it set for panning views. I don't use Target and see no need to use it for the A-10 especially if you want to have it setup the way you say. Don't run Target, load the game as normal, change the hat switch to trim and you are good to go.
  23. +1
  24. Nice one. That's what I'm talking about. Thank you!
