  1. I don't know if this is to late but just sit forward a little and then reset the position. Also, move your seat in real life to get the perfect view. I have no problems re-adjusting whatsoever. The best aircraft to get that feeling of actually sitting in a seat is the Viggen. You look slightly behind you and the headrest is in exactly the position you expect it to be in. It's wonderful.
  2. Blimey, how do you keep it so tidy. My setup looks like garbage bin compared to this. Nice one!
  3. Ha ha brilliant!
  4. Hi. Has anyone managed to get the ai to fire anti ship missiles. In particular the RB15F? I’ve noticed in the load out section there’s an option to load ai RB15F with ai launchers but doesn’t seem to work. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers.
  5. Brilliant stuff and so interesting. Many thanks.
  6. Same here. Anyone managed to get the ai to fire anti ship missiles?
  7. :beer::beer::beer::thumbup:
  8. Drinking a Spitfire, reading about the Spitfire while flying the Spitfire............HIC!!
  9. Brilliant stuff. Thanks for taking the time to make these John. I'm loving the Viggen. It really is one of the best modules for DCS. I'm going to get years of pleasure out of this.
  10. Yep, I agree. It seems like a good opportunity to take small bites out of the big elephant. Can't wait to start.
  11. I explained, and it has to be said with a bit of passion to my mates at work how it feels to fly a Spitfire in VR. One of the blokes welled up a bit and is now coming over to have a go. He always wanted to sit in a cockpit of a Spitfire but has never had the chance. His dad was in the RAF (mine too)and when he was a kid he said he used to get to see Spitfires flying close to the memorial flights of Battle of Britain etc..I said yer welcome anytime. He lives just down the road so he's coming over Sunday to have a go. It's fantastic. It really is.
  12. Whenever I switch my sight on in the Spitfire the lines of the sight picture get all wobbly and warped for want of a better description. Does anyone else have this problem? This is all in VR. I have no problem when in the old 2d mode. I should probably ask the question in the Spitfire side of the forum but thought I would ask here first. Cheers.
  13. Nothing unrealistic about the throttle slider. I think some ppl were confusing that with the lever on the joystick :) When I said it wasn't too realistic I was referring to setting the brakes through an axis bind at level 3 (cockpit brake indication) prior to landing for a more stable runout after touchdown. Hope that makes sense.
  14. Well said.
  15. Tried it just now. Works really well. Great tip. Might not be realistic but I'm not letting that get in the way of a more stable landing. Sometimes you just have to improvise. Many thanks for sharing. Rep inbound!
  16. Ah thanks very much. Makes sense. I already use the lever on the stick for brakes and have to bump it quickly like you said. I will give the slider axis a go tonight when I finish work. Cheers!
  17. It’s also not called Digital Medivac Those Troops Back To Base Simulator but you can do that and many other things without blasting away at everything. ;)
  18. That sounds like a good idea. Can you give a bit more detail on the throttle lever brake. Is that an axis setting?
  19. Yep. It is truly one of the great modules In DCS. I have recently started to nail landings and getting confident in doing so. I am far from being a good dog fighter though. Doing it in virtual reality blows my socks off every time and takes it to a whole new level.
  20. Thanks!
  21. Indeed. I totally agree with you here.
  22. Yep, some great ideas right there. I particularly like the "Nugget - Welcome to the Fleet" idea.
