  1. Has Razbam ever said they are going to make the Mirage 2000-5? That would be awesome.
  2. Interesting, does it mean if the target moves, the HARM will miss? I found it's impossible to hit a moving target using HARM (like a SA-15) even though the target radar is constanyly emitting.
  3. At least to my understanding, if the shooter aircraft has already burned throught the jammer, which is mentioned in the title of this topic, Aim-120 should be able to receive range information from the shooter aircraft, allowing it to loft.
  4. If a contact is bugged in SAM mode, using TMS right long to swtich to TWS, bugging also fails (sometimes).
  5. There is link in my post. It's not a program but a website. The website is https://dcs.silver.ru/ The tests are done by a Russian DCS player. He also did DCS vs real EM diagram comparison for some jets like the F-16.
  6. Nope. F-18 with pylons still outrates F-16 with pylons in all speed ranges by a lot. Altitude is about 3000ft since the person who did ths test only tested at 3000ft for 16 and 18 with pylons, but I don't think going down on the deck will make a big difference since 3000ft is not high. https://dcs.silver.ru/76,73,IAS_kts,zoom,lbs,turnrate
  7. I assume you are in either SEMI or AUTO. If you don't want the jet to do automatic chaff/flare release, you can go into the DCSWorld (your DCS installation folder)/Mods/Aircraft/F-16C/Cockpit/Scripts/EWS/CMDS/device and edit the CMDS_ALE47.lua using notepad. Just scroll down and below all the manual programs, there are two or three automatic programs which are the programs that control the jet to release countermeasures automatically in SEMI and AUTO. Just change the flare and/or chaff number to 0. Then, you won't get any automatic program release when hitting CMS aft. I like this way better since it lets you control the program release manually without wasting chaff and flares when it's not necessary. You can use CMS to command just the jammer transmission to your liking.
  8. I don't feel the detents not matching up. The original so called "detents" on the base are not really detents but a click sound when you push through them. They provides no resistance or require any extra movement like lift up or anything to push through. Honestly, I didn't even know the base has built in detents after reading your comment and checked my throttle again. With the F-16 throttle and detent frame intalled, it feels very smooth and the built in detents affect nothing except giving you a very tiny click sound which you would probably ignore most of the time. So after you installed the F-16 throttle with the detents frame on the left, you would first recalibate the throttle to match the idle and AB detents using Winwing's software SimAppPro. Then, you start DCS and the throttle movement and detents will match exactly with the throttle in the F-16 cockpit. I also binded my throttle to the F-18, surprisingly, the idle and AB detent also matches perfectly with the F-18. I didn't have to add any user curve or anything.
  9. No you need it for off/idle and AB detents
  10. Exactly what I have been experiencing. I think this is a bug. The only reliable MAV mode now is Bore.
  11. Most people play on dogfight severs do guns only, occasionally if both sides agree, fox 2s can be involved.
  12. I can cofirm I have experienced this issue as well. Mav page indicates it's locked onto the target(Mav crosshair on target and shaking). Fire the missile, the missile doesn't track and flies elsewhere. If you could post a track, I think ED could take a look. Sorry I don't have a track atm.
  13. Oh, so JF uses almost the exact same throttle as the Viper? I have never flown JF in DCS so I didn’t know. Yes, the two little buttons are nice. What do you mean by shift button tho? Currently I use them as F1 and F10 because I don’t wanna reach for my keyboard lol.
  14. No problem. Same as you, I also think they should have made the MAN RNG knob an physical axis with a beginning and end of travel, and without the four way hat on top, because the real throttle doesn’t come with the four way hat. But I guess there are always people who would appreciate more hats on their hotas. In case you worry, the MAN RNG/the four way hat on top does have the push down function to uncage.
  15. The off/idle position is aligned with the detent since it’s works like a key that you can bind to throttle off/idle in DCS. I don’t know about the afterburner detent since I don’t feel anything weird like hitting the detent twice when I go from Mil to AB. It feels pretty smooth and natural to me. Once you calibrate the afterburner position in SimAppPro, AB detent is also automatically aligned with the in-game throttle position in your F-16 cockpit. Yes, ANT ELEV knob is an axis with a center detent, just like the real F-16 throttle. It’s also very precise when changing your radar elevation in game. It kinda has an encoder type feel to it but yes it works like an absolute axis which you can bind it to ANT ELEV axis in DCS.
  16. Nice! By default it's an encoder and you bind it to MAN RNG Knob CW/CCW, which works totally fine when zooming in and out with the TGP. Kinda like a mouse wheel. And yes SimAppPro can make it work as an axis as well.
  17. It's the first high-end throttle I have ever owned (my previous one was a TM TWCS throttle). So, I have to say it's pretty awesome! Nothing bad so far.
  18. I never said TM is a Chinese firm.. I don't know where you got that from... You said the Warthog is made in the US, it's not, I corrected you by saying it's made in China. That's it, simple. Why are you accusing me of saying things I never said? Anyway, I'm done talking to you mate. Enjoy your life.
  19. Yeah. But what I am really asking is if ALE-50 gonna be extremely useful when defending against AA missiles like Aim-120C, Aim-54 etc.
  20. No worries. I understand it now. Thx for the reply tho.
  21. Nope I think you misunderstood us. Jet A never reverses the turn, he just stay inside our turn circle while we TRY to outrate him. In other words, Jet A just stays behind our 3-9 line although he cannot kill us, we cannot outrate him and kill him either before our fuel runs out. Jet A is a piloted by human pilot. So, we cannot even accomplish step 1.
  22. I wonder if ALE-50 is gonna make F-16 invincible in BVR.
  23. Yeah, I have noticed the same fighting against a Su-27 yesterday. He could just stay inside my turn circle.
  24. What is NCTR capability? Can you explain in simple words?
