Here's some more info on the HE-I (Russian version, Iran makes one too)round for the 2A42 (Of which there are two versions - 2 x Iranian, 2 x Russian). THe round is actually used in a few different weapon systems. Explosive type = A-IX-2 Fuse type = A-670M (point detonating) Main charge weight = 0.123kg Weight of the round itself = .386 kg Total cartridge weight = .8?? kg Projectile speed = 950-970m/s Point detonating with an A-670M fuse Self destruct at 7.5 secs to 14.5 secs Perhaps someone good in math can do the paper work with this. The AP-T round can penetrate 20mm of RHA at 60 degress at 700m with a velocity of 960-980 m/s. This is all from the internet.

MY wife runs Call Of Duty Black Ops on her IMac via Bootcamp (She has the fully loaded 27" one). The only thing she had to do was use a normal wired mouse as the game wouldn't recognize her Apple mouse. I'm tempted to try DCS on her IMac but it only has 4 USB ports - TrackIr - Rudders, stick and mouse = No keyboard (I'm not sure DCS would recognize the Apple bluetooth k-board.)

Buddy refuelling would be fun if the next A/C was capable of it..

We have several women in combat roles within the Canadian military. The majority are more than capable og holding their own in firefights..First hand experience.

Maybe some nice modders will make some new aircraft with IL76 or globemaster etc flight dynamics. Maybe I should actually try using 3ds sometime too....

Welcome ! Are you running Flaming Cliffs 2 or the rather old and out dated original LOMAC ? Irregardless, just switch through your NAV modes (3rd mode IIRC - using the tilde ~ key) and you will find the proper one. I fly the Ka-50 now so am trying to remember, but your HUD will switch to landing mode and your flight / landing director will be shown.

Interested for sure as long as it's a very close representative of the Ka's controls

I don't get any shaking unless I lose a rotor..perhaps that's what you're doing.. I never get any cockpit shake unless damaged..

Excellent work! Just found one thing. It seems in the encyclopedia from the Mi 8 on, the information displayed is for the next helo in the list, not the selected aircraft.
