Ummmm..... YAAAAAAAAAAAS!!!

Got it fixed! Thank you very much! Cheers!

I tried binding the 'comms' to several different switches with no luck....so I uninstalled/reinstalled before heading off to work for the day. Hopefully it fixes the issue...

No comms for me either...Unable to get comms at all... Even after running a update and repair... Why? I'm typically not one to bitch or moan about broken modules... But this kind of crap is getting *really* old and aggravating...

+1 In my limited experience (1990-1996, 2014-current), chocks are *always* placed when arriving aircraft are marshalled into their respective parking spot's. (Unless they are helicopters w/skids obviously) Not placing chocks on an aircraft, is a serious safety violation, and is grounds for disciplinary action up to and including termination. Anything located on an airport ramp area that is equipped with wheels, is required to be chocked and parking brake set (if equipped), when not in use. This includes trucks, tugs, carts, mobile ladders etc. Although it's not strictly enforced, if a accident occurs, and the investigation reveals that the incident is a direct result of something not being chocked...the last person to utilize the equipment in question, likely will be terminated. So chocks not being placed on a parked aircraft, would have to involve an extraordinary situation, that of which I've not experienced in my 12yrs of working around powered up aircraft. If surface winds in excess of 15-20kts are expected...aircraft are chocked on each gear wheel. No exceptions. When military aircrew(s) (i.e fighter/trainer aircraft) return to their mount for departure, they usually pull pins/covers as they conduct their walk-around. Once walk-around is complete, pins and personal gear are secured, and aircraft ingress begins. Ejection seats remain 'safed' until taxi/EOR. Power (external power via Air starter/GPU) is not started until crew have began start-up procedures, and is only applied upon proper notification via hand-signal from the pilot. Same for power disconnect. Chocks are the very last thing to be removed from the aircraft (again via pilots hand-signal). Although it varies with pilot discretion, most often, (from my experience) unless the pilot knows his pre-taxi checks will take longer than usual, chocks are usually not removed until within roughly two minutes(+/-) of pilot taxiing out...

@Flappie: Hi @FighterJetGeek, this thread deals with MP timeouts. Please open a brand new thread and attach your dcs.log file into it ( C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS...\Logs\dcs.log ). Understood.. Please excuse me.

What about SP? I encountered this same issue last night... I would choose a quick mission, and no matter what aircraft I chose (that were available to fly on that map)...it ended up freezing during the final stages of the loading process. And this only happened on the Syria map...no other's. I ran repairs and updates and even uninstalled my user files and mods to no avail. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling DCS just within the last hour because of this...

Outstanding work! As a former member of a Huey unit...this absolutely nails it!

Voice editor for "realistic" radio voice files?
=DROOPY= replied to Nalfeyn's topic in Mission Editor
I'm *very* interested in this... Hopefully someone will be along shortly that will be able to help. After hearing hundreds if not thousands of hours of ATC comms at my local airport, one is able to pick up on the nuances of military aviators from the different branches of service. Often, the military pilots that are donning their O² mask, have a very distinctive sound when heard. It's a sound that is difficult to describe. I hope that unique sound is also something that could be implemented in the future... -

Every single link posted to the Discord is broken/expired... Anyone mind sharing a good link? -
One single image captured by aviation photographer George Hall caused me to fall in love with the A-6E... It was a photo of an A-6E TRAM, powered up on the 'cat, and fully loaded with 24 'live' Mk82 snakes, and a centerline drop tank... That alone sealed my love for the Intruder...

Just wanted to voice my appreciation to you guys for all the hard work! I haven't had much time to mess around in the Tomcat, but after reading about all of the stuff included in today's update...and the bonus of not having to purchase the 'A' model separately... I'm absolutely stoked... I can't wait to get home from work tonight and geek out! You guys are awesome!

I recently received a 'Permanently Banned' notification when I came back to the forums to catch up from last night... Although all I had to do was log out and then log back in, I was quite startled at being 'banned' to say the least, as I have no issue with anyone, and I have posted only a handful of times... Something that probably should be addressed when able...

Android? I would *absolutely* use the crap out of this...

This whole time I thought I was the problem... I assumed that I kept breaking some sort of unwritten pattern procedure when coming back around...and the LSO is like "Screw that guy!!!" as he's walking away from the LSO platform..

Any way you would be interested in creating an additional -106 skin? I have plenty of reference photos, and would gladly send you a frame-ready print of the actual aircraft upon completion...

Good afternoon all, Would any of you have any interest in creating a specific, highly detailed livery for me/others? I have photos of a particular F/A-18C (BuNo 164276/Modex 315) from VFA-106 that, due to its historical significance (to me anyway), I and possibly many others, would like to have it in my livery collection. The backstory is, the pilot was ferrying this jet back to NAS Oceana, and upon it's arrival, it would be permanently removed from flying status with VFA-106. Also of note, is that mere weeks after taking those photos, VFA-106 was completely out of the Legacy Hornet business, and shifted their syllabus and operations to operating the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet exclusively. Unfortunately,I have absolutely zero experience creating DCS skins, and very little spare time, but in my uneducated opinion, I don't believe that it would be a difficult task, especially for someone with experience. I could be mistaken, but I believe that the only thing(s) that would need to be altered, are the crew names, modex, and other small details. I can provide you with plenty of reference photos in high resolution. I cannot offer you financial compensation, but I'm willing to provide you a printed image of the aircraft (up to $30 value) suitable for framing and free of charge. Shipping it to you would be also free if you reside in the continental United States. Are you interested?

Hope not.... Sounds really interesting..

This is fantastic!! Thank you very kindly for sharing Sir!

I'm not educated enough to develop my own aircraft skins, but a couple of squadrons that I would enjoy seeing liveries for: VFA-25 'Fist Of The Fleet' VFA-204 'River Rattlers' VFA-27 'Royal Maces'
