  1. I can release the pink scheme if you like but it will be pretty light on detail as we have no official template yet. I learned the hard way with the F-86 that skinning a beta means lots of changes and many skin updates...
  2. I would think the Mk.IX would have had a VHF set by 1944, which is the time period this module was designed for (Normandy map). Also, the lack of wires between the stab tips and fuselage would indicate the later type of I.F.F. installed but there's no antenna under the right wing, and there's evidence of the insulators on the rear fuselage where the early I.F.F. wires would have been attached.
  3. Not so fast dude, I might need your help with spelling the maintenance stencils ;) Watch your PMs. :D
  4. An S.31 skin for the Spitfire MK.IXc... Real S.31s were PR Mk.19 aircraft, until we get something closer like the Mk.XIV this will do ;) Just cleaning up some stuff, should be done soon: 11/60 of 1 Division, Flottilj 11, Flygvapnet, based at Nykoping, July, 1955. Only basic air frame details so far, will redo in future once we have a real template. Until then I'm relying on bump mapping ;)
  5. Are you choosing Canada as a country in the mission editor?
  6. Fixed! Thanks again :)
  7. Hi uboats, Getting a mfc140u.dll missing error when I try to start ver. 2.0 Which version of Visual C++ x86/x64 are you using?
  8. Werki, before you install the new download make sure you delete the old skin folder first.

    SEA Camo

Finished! USAF SEA Camo and USN XFJ-2B schemes uploaded to DCS for approval... Camo F-86F can use tail bort numbers. USN XFJ-2B scheme includes Navy pilot.
  10. Hi werki, I'm not getting any Bort numbers displayed in either 1.5 or 2.0 with that skin. I updated all my Sabre skins a while back, after Belsimtek changed the Bort number syntax for the F-86F. Have you tried updating the skin?
  11. Can't seem to get this to work, is it still working?
  12. Thanks uboats, have been playing with it and it's a great little program! :)
  13. Try: \DCS World\CoreMods\WWII Units\SpitfireLFMkIX\Liveries\SpitfireLFMkIX
  14. Ok, changed my mind, first one will probably be 116757, No. 434 "Bluenose" TFS, circa 1973... to include period CAF pilot gear. Working on the tip tanks.
  15. :D Looking great!
  16. Looks great :)
  17. Dinga, short answer is you can't. Not right now. See this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=179505 Hopefully the development team could change this, see this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=179508
  18. Type "E" tropical aertex flying helmet, cotton khaki drill uniform... Should look nice with the desert camo'd Spits :)
  19. I can certainly do a Swedish S.31 skin, a Mk.XIV Spit is in the works as well, which would be a closer stand in for the Mk.19 but in the meantime I can do a PRU skin for the Mk. IXc. I don't know anything about Swedish Spitfires so this should be interesting :)
  20. Would be nice if ED could make a IXe out of the existing IXc, and add the broad chord rudder as well.
  21. Skin updated to include new code letter and serial number decals: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2268383/
  22. Yes, RAF Blank skin now includes new code letter and serial number decals. DL here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2268383/
  23. Been playing with the RAF pilot/helmet textures a bit. After the Normandy invasion most pilots based on the continent wore British Army battledress uniforms to fly in instead of RAF blue, as the blue when seen at a distance could be confused with German feldgrau... not great when your walking west after a crash landing and getting near your own trigger happy troops. ;) Rank stripes and uniform hats (if worn) were still RAF blue, as was any webbing carried (pistol belt, holster, etc): Progress: Blackened the boots, khaki BD (colour needs to be a bit more brown), brown D type flying gloves, and changed the C type helmet chin strap and MkVIII goggle strap to grey. Making a tan cotton aertex E type flying helmet now, for the MTO MkIX skins to follow. Note to ED: That two-snap leather tab on the left side of the helmet is part of the O2 mask straps. If the mask is removed, that tab should disappear too! :)
  24. Doesn't seem to work yet with the Spitfire IX.
  25. In a perfect world we'd be able to choose between AB-C on both left and right sides, as well as AB-C on the left and C-AB on the right... :) ED has chosen to have the codes arranged so that the two letter squadron code is always in front of the fuselage nationality marking. This is ok, but there is ample photo evidence of aircraft marked so that the two letters are on the "left" side of the roundel when read left to right on both port and starbord sides of the aircraft. (Confused yet?) :) See this post for pics: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2992590&postcount=3 Maybe 11 characters, using some sort of placeholder character ie: ANJJF579ANJ~~~ vs. ANJJF579~~~JAN so the game knows how to arrange the letters on both sides and which mapping locations to use?
