  3. Bare Metal RCAF Sabre skins - NATO Squadrons I edited the description lua files to make it easier to see which paint scheme is which in NATO squadrons with both camo and bare metal finishes. Skin will show up in mission builder with either Metal or Camo suffix. 421 Squadron: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/900881/ 413 Squadron: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/900887/ 416 Squadron: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/900896/ 414 Squadron: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/900898/ 422 Squadron: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1410148/ 439 Squadron: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1410152/ 434 Squadron: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/893776/ More to come...

  5. By the way... These new versions have all been tested in DCS World 1.5, They should work in DCS 2.0 (Nellis Test Map) as well, but may have some small glitches (ie, I noticed the gear indications are blank for some reason) until the F-86F is brought up to date in 2.0. Back to updates, 23213 of No. 1 (Fighter) OTU updated here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/893786/ 23362 of No. 1 (Fighter) OTU updated here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/893781/
  6. SAAF Sabre Mk.6 updates Ok, here we go... No. 85 AFS SAAF skin updated here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1459721/ Eskader 1 SAAF Sabre skin awaiting approval...
  7. After a repair, pylons disappear leaving tanks floating under wings. Not that I EVER have to repair the airplane following a landing, you understand, just did this one to test... ;)
  8. Yeah, I think the last generation had a lot more fun at airshows than we do today ;) Bad boys. This was the Mk.6 with the final paint scheme with the blue buzz numbers on the tails. Not sure where the pic was taken.
  9. Will be (finally) getting around to updating all my Sabre skins over the next few days, now that we have a final version of BST's F-86F. Many improvements added since last updates, tweaked metal and camo paint spec files, added some more cockpit details and most skins will have period helmet art included, based on what I've been able to find during my research. Added more weathering effects, worn paint, staining etc. Normal maps redone for RCAF and SAAF Sabres to reflect different fuselage access panels on the Orenda engined Mk.5 and 6. Many thanks to Skatezilla for his continued template updates  Not sure why the screens look so crappy, must be some sort of Photobucket BS. Anyway, Watch this space...
  10. Perfect timing, I'm going to buckle down and get my skins updated this week. Thanks so much!
  11. I've had mixed results with extra strength adult aspirin...
  12. Cool, was this originally a NATO Tiger Meet paint scheme for the A-7? Reminds me of the striped CF-104s from the 1970s - 80s.
  13. Check your PMs Rob ;)
  14. Seems to be a graphics glitch in the latest version, here are two pics, neutral grey DIF colour, and black (matte) Spec layer. Circled black marks appear on all textures. Also, and I'm not sure why, the "seams" of the 3D model are much more visible in game now:
  15. I have both these bugs. The lights seem to appear/disappear depending on zoom distance, they disappear at mid ranges but reappear both far away and close up. Might be a LOD issue.
  16. Texture in question is located in Cockpit1, inside the Emerg. Fuel panel. Used to look like this: Texture looks to have been removed, leaving plain black 0, 0, 0 background instead. Same panel as it appears now:
  17. Push to test on the Missle panel is missing alpha texture so looks like this in game when lit/pressed to test: Cockpit texture 1 alpha needs to be updated as there is no texture for that warning light at the moment. Alpha as it is now: Warning light locations on F86F_Cockpit_Texture1 as circled: Alpha needs to look like this to match: Thanks for all the hard work, this module is really coming together nicely! :)
  18. Fair 'nuff, better than I can do :)
  19. Thanks for all your hard work SkateZilla. Do you know if an official Belsimtek template is forthcoming, or are you already using BST layers in your templates? New default livery weathering looks fantastic.
  20. I'd just like to thank the devs for doing such a great job in getting the Sabre up to release standard. Just updated my DCS install to take a look and I love all the little tweaks, cockpit updates, on the inside, bump mapping and weathering effects on the outside :) I guess it's time I got back to updating skins now that most of the big changes are behind us. Thanks BST!
  21. Nice skins in that add-on :music_whistling:;) Shameless plug for Flight Ontario: What started out as an interesting scenery idea became a very in-depth simulation of a fighter wing crossing the Atlantic. Many thanks to Bill Worthy (416 RCAF) who donated his hand drawn pilot's notes from Leapfrog II. If you liked the Leapfrog mission, check out the BCATP scenery packs, turns your watch back to the early 1940s and how various Canadian airfields looked during WW2. Anyway, here's a link to an RCAF ATC site that has some examples of how official approach plates looked in the early sixties: http://67.69.104.76:84/rcaf-atc/locations.html If you click on the original 1 Air Division RCAF stations: Marville, France Grostenquin, France Zweibrucken, (West) Germany Baden-Soellingen, (West) Germany and click on "Aerodrome", scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see IFR approach charts and sector control info as presented circa 1963. Great work, justinm11!
  22. Trigger has two detents, or stages: first click happens at about half travel and activates the gun camera. Continue pulling to second click at full travel fires guns. Edit: Beat me to it :)
  23. Whoops! Fixed a couple of errors, new version available, same DL location in post above :)
  24. Try it now :) https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/793979/ New version has updated Canadair Mk.5 panel lines and matching normal map. Aaaaannnd... Reality check ;) Golden Hawks at Nellis AFB ... maybe 1960?
