My guess is cause the technology requires a paid liscence, and its not cheap, ED may have decided that currently its not viable.

I think NTTR, well every module in general, should be updated to current graphic standards, reason being that all current modules will eventually, tech and graphics wise, get old. Thats reality. Such update imo is needed at least every 5 to 7 years. Ofc that work needs to be paid for. So ED and 3rd parties can make some extra cash by doing graphic rehaul. You can for example compare NTTR textures and some new map taxtures like Afghan, big difference.

Last update from Azure Poly regarding their Rafale in MSFS included Damocles pod, AASM, GBU-12, MICA IR/EM, Meteor etc... So if its them creating Rafale for DCS I assume it will be C model F3 standard, which would be absolutely amazing.
-
If we get Rafale M it should come with CDG Carrier, it can off course operate from US carriers but CDG would be great addition to DCS fleet. And it would bring the immersion up by a 1000% when Rafale M is deployed to lets say Syria or SA maps. But that's the big IF, we have no idea what we are getting and I'm just hoping for F3 standard.
-
Forgot what it is but I'm pretty sure its in Balgrade. I think its Narodna Skupština.
-
Imo anything they can add is great, and will bring the immersion up specially for users of the map that actually live there.

Yet everyone is struggling to escape the Balkans No wonder it has that funny nickname

There are other countries in the mix here too Large task to translate all that tho, but mods might be possible.

Yeah was planing to ask about that one, its not in use now since its blown up and mostly tourist attraction but surely an impressive piece of legacy. Lots of videos on Željava on youtube. Same goes for islands naval hangars in Croatian waters. -

Nice, that is great. Any pics of Split Croatia you can sneak through?:) -
You can always get a vacation there, I hear its beautiful Split Croatia CVN-78 visiting. Split viewed from a beach across the bay:

Thought I re post this in wish list: Hey there are 2 hangars near Split Airport which were operational during the war for our Homeland, they were operational during Operation Allied Force as well, would love if you could model those too. https://www.balkanwarhistory.com/2017/06/airport-divulje-split-underground.html

Belgrade images look like 2020+, but I'm not from there so I can't say for sure, if they post Split or Zagreb I can be more precise. -
Might be worth a while to check this out now that Balkan Map is coming

Outstanding news!!! Can't wait for this one.

Curious to see which version will it be, I assume a C model but which standard? F3 would be on pair with F-16 or F-18, anything earlier than F3 is quite limited in its capabilities. Since F2 for example didn't use TGP as far as I know, and F1 was only AA capable. F3 also has SPECTRA system, TGP and AASM (laser guided / GPS guided, rocket boosted) bombs along with GBUs from the US, and with MICA and Meteor for AA. There is also Exocet, SCALP and ASMP missiles. SPECTRA is imo most interesting part of this jet. TGP is self explanatory:) AASM bomb has very long range for a bomb, with its rocket booster. Very good SEAD wepon, something like AGM-130. If we get this + the rest of the weaponry it would make for one very capable jet in DCS. Hope we get some info soon.

Couple of Questions re F-16 throttle use and QFE on Afghan map
Furiz replied to DrDetroit's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
Hey, I learned some time ago that with same percentage on the engine RPM the fuel flow will wary depending on height/air thickness, temperature humidity etc, so I trained myself to watch fuel flow, and realised that around 5800ish pph is optimal and mach 0.65 to 0.70. I guess that's why that fuel flow indicator is positioned so high on the instrument panel, so you can glance at it easily. Must have been an important tool Mil power is, in my opinion, to be used when you are engaging targets, or in high risk zones etc, obviously you need speed to clear out if some launch happens. But when cruising on the way to area of operations I like to use fuel flow and keep it around 5800pph. -
Hey, that view depends on where you save it in Mission Editor, so try saving it zoomed out it should be ok.

Someone sent you Mark Point data. Essentially they shared the mark point with group.
