  1. I like the storytelling but I wouldn't mind a small summary in the end of the story.
  2. The problem is, as I see it, when reaming DCS rearms the stations that are not updated in the rearm window so TGP gets rearmed even tho it is not selected for rearm. While HTS stays powered on. It is off course logical to turn off the station prior to rearming, but then that would mean, when weapons are rearmed, that STORE STA switch need to be set to OFF as well, along with RIGHT and LEFT HDPT. In real life they probably have some procedure for this, would be really great if it was simulated in DCS as well.
  3. I just rearmed a running jet, you need to flip the switch OFF then ON again and it will start up. But HTSworks like nothing happened.
  4. Exactly this, people that never did AAR are trying to suggest aids to do it, like giving advice about dating and you never had a partner AAR is like life, it will not be easy once you start living on your own, but when you make it, it is really rewarding. Practice guys, you can do it, don't be a quitter.
  5. If you were dedicated to practice AAR like you are dedicated to beg ED to change the game for you you would have done it by now
  6. Yes I can confirm, long push and it works.
  7. Thanks, some of the stuff is really game breaking, there is Maverick bore sight issue too.
  8. Same happening to me: F-16 Mav BSGT not functional.trk
  9. Is this gonna be hotfixed? It will make multiplayer very difficult with 2 or more Vipers lasing in the same area. Since its fixed internally and patch cycle is 6 weeks I think think should be hot fixed.
  10. Yeah, if you want to get the most out of this sim you can reach out and ask for advice from the community, if you go through the forum there are lots of people helping out. I see you only have 29 posts, most of those in this topic, which means your a new, but you came to this forum and you ask for ED to change the game for you instead of asking for advice on how to do aerial refueling. even tho we all have our differences, this community is the best I've seen so far.
  11. Sorry to see you go and give up so easy, you can read EULA about that or contact support.
  12. Back and forth, pointless request. It has been said before over and over, practice AAR instead of dropping bombs, and you wont need any aid. Practice makes you better;)
  13. We are discussing and you start calling people toxic... not really nice, there is no reason for AAR sorry, I already explained why.
  14. I think this is going in the same direction as other threads, they are providing all the wrong reasons for something that is really not needed, and all they have to do is spend some time practicing.
  15. You can practice refueling in any session right now. All you have to do is choose a short mission with tanker, fly up to it and spend 10 min practicing, after that go bomb stuff and land, refuel/rearm and do it again. Its not that kind of assist as others. Meaning we don't want WT or MSFS here, thanks.
  16. But it wont help anyone, They can, as it was said countless times before, use their free time to practice formation flying and then aerial refueling. As thousands others have done before and succeeded in doing so, instead of dropping bombs, they spent their time learning to fly formation. Then after they learned to fly formation and refuel they started dropping bombs. Or if they skipped AAR they know they don't qualify for long missions, so they do short missions. Body height and eyesight is not something you can choose - how to spend your free time is something you can choose, I suggest you spend it on practicing. As for your ground school etc, you can choose that but DCS doesn't require you to go through all that. And lastly this is a simulator, not real life, I hope you can distinguish the two. CTRL+Y, and speed up or pause is for testing and bug reporting purposes mostly, but its convenient if you don't have much time to spend through 30 min of straight forward flight, or you need a toilet break, we are at home after all. Yes it is ok, skill is something you get by spending time practicing, it comes down to your choice of how you'll spend your time if you don't practice you wont get the skill required to accomplish a certain task. And that is not the reason to turn a simulation into arcade. And if you can not do AAR then you are not qualified to do long mission which require AAR, for that reason you should do shorter missions, or, we come there again, practice AAR. After all AAR is not required to play DCS. As I said, people that don't like simulating shouldn't be simulating since they don't like it. But instead they want to change simulation into arcade. I think that is whats wrong here.
  17. I think people that don't like playing simulations shouldn't be playing simulations.
  18. HUD will show barometric altitude based on the air pressure, the higher you go the lower the pressure, it also depends on time of the year and temperature, so in summer the pressure is lower while winter has higher pressure. That's why HUD may be wrong, also why you should set your altimeter to 0 while on ground lvl.
  19. Well we don't know from what you described but a short track would help us figure out what is the problem. I can tell you what I do, when I drop the LGB I bank left for like 40 degrees off target then I set up orbit with a slight bank to the right, works every time.
  20. @jungleboy123 You can use Expand/FOV Button Depress, or the NORM/EXP osb button. Early Access guide page 250.
