  1. I agree, the slew rate of TGP is different than what we have with Maverick, Maverick slew is faster and its making it very hard to make small corrections. If he adjusts the curves to make Mav slew rate acceptable it will make slew rate of TGP very slow...
  2. Tracks can get corrupted with newer versions of DCS, so it is better to make new tracks
  3. This has been reported I think 2 years ago and still happening. recent image:
  4. You can slew TGP in Nav mode, and you'll see SPI move, that is where the TGP is looking.
  5. Only 2 posts but you surely know a lot about DCS. My best guess is another fake account to steer up the drama and troll around.
  6. Hey .miz is a mission file, we need track replay file .trk so we can see what you are doing then this problem appears. You can save your track replay after you do the mission, end it and next screen will have the option to Save Track.
  7. Hi, there are many factors to consider, have you aligned the jet properly? cause if you didn't move anything and your STPT is on the target the TD box should be on it. If you can replicate in a short mission and post a track of the issue we can check it out.

    Auto GCAS

Hope Auto GCAS system is included in our F-35A sim.
  9. Where did you find this? never heard of this method. As far as I know for better accuracy you can lase 3-5 sec before weapon release, aircraft and bomb then get updated info on the target.
  10. I see F-35 as door opener to other secretive modern aircraft like Rafale or Gripen, Russian, Chinese etc... F-35 will show how to make aircraft simulation without revealing crucial info, and ED is very good in doing that. F-35 is marvel of technology atm and by developing this aircraft in full fidelity is nothing but a good choice for DCS and flight sim community. PvP is just a small portion of players and as ED stated many times balance is not priority. You can balance stuff in PvP anyway very easy, just restrict what you think will give unfair advantage to one side or the other. We are simulating real world, there is no balance there either so I don't think this should be something that should block an opportunity like this one.
  11. Because, for example, eye witness memory in testimonies in court have the least amount of weight because, when they witness a car hitting some person, 7 out of 10 people will fail on the car color. Memories fade with time and people tend to replace details with some other details. Remember what they said about Mover's comment on the F-16. But I believe that ED will do a good job on Fat Amy, as they did with previous aircraft.
  12. This exactly, Because if there is no attempt then there is no success. To add, this opens doors to other modern jets and shows others nations/companies that are so secretive about their aircraft that ED can make modern aircraft simulation without revealing crucial info to the public. Simulator game is great platform to recruit young pilots to airforce, and many countries are struggling to get pilots. ED stated many many times, they are not going for balance in PvP, servers can do that by excluding certain aircraft etc. They are simulating aircraft that they can make and have enough interest in. It would be foolish of them to skip such an opportunity so PvP guys can have balance. There is a lot of interest in F-35. Lack of info on redfor jets is not EDs fault, they can't do anything about it. for example I'd love to see Rafale, it is my favourite jet, so I guess my side is EU. But no joy with Rafale cause not enough info. And how many EU modern jets do you see in DCS, start counting with low fidelity then move up to full fidelity ones. Ill help, closest we have to modern EU jet is M-2000C (fox 3? = nope), so that is 1, see any others? At least you have low fidelity redfor stuff, some even have fox3. We have no fox3 EU jet in DCS atm. EF is coming and that is great. Oh and AI jets from EU? Rafale, Gripen, EF (coming) we could really benefit from AI versions there so we can at least create some interesting conflicts. It seems we can only get US modern stuff in DCS, but ED is not to blame there its simply lack of info.
  13. I see F-35 as improvement of DCS and It gives us insight in most modern and advanced jet in the world. It is very good that they managed to pull this off cause it can open doors to other eagerly awaited modern jets in the future. ED has its standard of delivering high fidelity aircraft and I'm sure they gonna keep up to that standard cause its very hard to get good reputation and very very easy to lose it.
  14. Just like in todays real world conflicts, nothing different.
  15. That is because steerpoints from 1-25 are used for navigation, 26-30 for markpoints, 31-55 geographic lines etc... Reffet to Manual page 198 for more info.
  16. You don't have to wait for it to happen, you can try it next time you fly. DMS AFT long and it will turn off, when you do it again it will turn back on. If that is not what you are doing when it turns off, then you need to check if some other keybind is set to DMS AFT.
  17. Hi, please read this first they need a report not a question. Recheck your inputs? Maybe something is bound incorrectly.
  18. This is correct as is, Any stores with TGP or TGP and HTS are always CAT III, only 2 wing tanks are CAT I, ECM pod on center line are CAT I but if it is on wing station then its CAT III, any asymmetric load out is CAT III (even AA missiles after one is fired, eg. you had 4 aim-120 and you fired one). Pilot needs to know which CAT mode should be selected for given situation. I agree its weird at first.
  19. Hi, In the F-16 manual it says about Snowplow - Slewing is disabled; however, it is possible to ground-stabilize by pressing TMS-fwd. This will exit SP mode and enter a normal AREA track. It is possible to make a markpoint, steerpoints 26 to 30 are reserved for markpoints, it is explained on the page 118 of the F-16 manual.
  20. Modern aircraft are more complex than those from earlier eras, many systems and procedures to learn but for me that is what makes them fun. If you don't mind learning I can only suggest getting into one part of the jet at a time. For example, learn navigation (enter new waypoints, markpoints, then learn MGRS coordinates, edit those etc...) learn how to manipulate waypoints. When you get how to work with those you can tackle with JTAC. 9 line is just info which is not hard to decipher once you do some practice on the subject. Same goes with everything else in modern era jets, I'd say it takes some learning and practice to get to campaign ready level. You don't have to spend months learning like real life Viper pilots do since we can just reset the mission and they can't. I guess that complexity is what makes the difference between DCS and other aircraft games.
  21. Not sure how it would work with devs but good idea. Stumbled upon a video recently that shows how to combine maps with trigger zones, really cool.
  22. They gave very good answer on your question, the problem is that you don't understand the concept of Viper's SPI. Just like you don't understand the concept of Bug Reports forum section. You only offer your opinion and nothing else, no documentation from real jet etc... then you start throwing knives at ED, you might be wrong.
  23. Oh my... another business advisor, no thanks.
  24. F/A-18C and F-16C, F-14, F-15E, Mirage 2000, MiG-21, MiG-29 were all there during Serb aggression vs former Yugoslav countries. What are you talking about?
