Good guys vs Bad guys? There is people that want realistic modern jets and don't really care for PvP, then there is people that want to PvP with only cold war or warbirds etc... its not just black and white.

I think they didn't forget it but SC is not the same as flyable aircraft, and SC is really for another topic, some bought it cause they had to, cause of the crew and being left behind if they don't buy it, and wont ever use those extra features.

No one has the numbers but ED, What we can do is look at what is being played the most on MP servers, Viper and Hornet, then tomcat and A-10 and then the rest, when I see F-5 I fly close and screenshot cause that ain't happening very often, the impression you get here on the forums might be wrong, there are 10ish people constantly talking about F-4, cold war, and that's it, so you might think it would be the best seller, but in fact modern jets sell the most. Also check forum activity, Viper and Hornet section, there's someone always writing something, while F-5 for example 1 post 12 hrs ago and the rest a week old posts, so activity there is very low. F-86 there is 1 post 21 hrs ago rest if from december 2021... (currently, it might change) You tube is full of modern jet videos, GS = mostly modern dogfights, very rarely cold war birds GR is doing everything Spudknocker as far as I see modern jets mostly Red Kite modern jets That's what I see in the community, Based on that modern jets are what sells the most and what people want the most. but I don't have the numbers so I can't say I'm not wrong.

Some people here, guys be positive in life it will do you world of good. I see people here talking how they got robbed basically, immoral practices etc... there is nothing bad about pre-purchase, in fact there can be only good things. You pay in advance for modules and you get 30% discount, and what happens there, you support the project by giving ED money to pay for programmers and staff, you pay in advance but less than later when the module is fully completed its full price then, cause if you want the module you will have to pay for it either way, so that money is gonna go to ED anyway then when we look at like that I don't understand why are complaining about 30% discount you are getting? I can only say thank you ED for the discount. Keep up the good work! And you guys that don't want to pay in advance and get 30% off, pay full price later, its no problem really

I'd love if we could use Reaper drone for JTAC.

I have both modules and for me Viper is more user friendly, the logic on the systems is just great.

FLIR is not tied to a module.

I wouldn't expect any official specially training missions in NTTR because it is a paid map. Not everyone has it, and it is not fair to make people pay to have access to training mission.

Why only land based? Carrier aircraft chocks are even more important, but nevertheless all aircraft should have them on when cold starting.

If you are not visible on the F10 map it means the game doesn't register you as "alive" unit any more, so that's why you cant get repaired. Also enemies wont attack you.

In real life, when that happens you punch out. But in DCS you can try landing and repairing.

Rafale would be great to have in DCS, too bad Dassault doesn't share the same love for virtual pilots as we do for their Rafale.

So anyone from ED can solve this? do I have to do something or it is an issue that will be fixed in a patch? night missions look terrible atm.

Since DCS is a simulation of real world aircraft there cant be balance cause there is no balance in real world. Some airforce is more advanced and some are still using 80s jets, some are huge in numbers while others are low in numbers, there is no airforce with equal strenght in the world. ED even said balance is not something they are trying to achieve, they do what ever aircraft they can. No matter which side its on.

I don't have any problem with aligning the JHMCS on the ground or in the air. Make sure you do this: Exit master modes, be sure you are in Nav mode, and dobber back to main DED page. (radios will be shown) Press LIST > M-SEL > RCL > DOBBER SWITCH RIGHT > M-SEL When you do that you will get a cross on the HUD and on your JHMCS, press Enable Switch - Depress, you will see ALIGNEMENT message blinking, align your JHMCS cross with the HUD cross at that time, when it stops blinking press M-SEL, at that time you will get 2 small corsses on your JHMCS which need to be aligned with the big cross on your HUD, simply use the slew to get them on the cross and press M-SEL for each of the small crosses aligned, gratz you are done. P.S. make sure JHMCS is turned on.
