  1. Yes you are right, my bad, was looking at the wrong stuff
  2. Ok I understand that, what about CZ on HSD then? currently there is no CZ on HSD.
  3. He was talking about three sensors so that's why I assumed HAD rather than HSD, but there is no CZ on HSD or on HAD while STPT is offset, and nothing happens when HAD or HSD is SOI and TMS AFT is pressed to return SPI to selected STPT. F-16 HSD HAD no CZ.trk
  4. Either way you would have to switch SOI for this or that reason. I think it is much better this way.
  5. Did you mean HAD here? If so, when TMS AFT is pressed while HAD is SOI and no emitter selected it will not move SPI to selected STPT location, it will stay on last designated emitter location. I'll make a track later if needed.
  6. I think what he means is that TMS AFT while HAD is SOI and emitter unselected should reset SPI back to active STPT. Currently when TMS AFT, while HAD is SOI, is pressed it undezignates the current designated emitter but SPI remains on the emitter location, and second TMS AFT while HAD is SOI does not return SPI to active STPT. Which is correct since in HTS section of the Viper manual there is no mention (as far as I know) that TMS AFT will return SPI to STPT location.
  7. Yeah that's the best way to do it, in my experience with employing Maverick it is best to boresight at 5-7nm, cause that's the most likely the distance it will get a lock and it will be fired from.
  8. I had it return to original STPT with TMS AFT on TGP, CZ on TGP and CZ on FCR. Post a track so we can see what is hapening.
  9. Yeah, do them with Maverick only. No, you really don't need to switch back to TGP, you can re-designate with Maverick. Cause when you designate you should check if the target is good, then if it is good you should fire, if not you need to undesignate and you can't do that with TGP.
  10. Wanted to report this some time ago cause it really rips my ears, so when throttle is pushed to all the way to mil power when it hits the AB wall there is no sound but when its pulled back there is a sound that should be there when it hits that wall. Further more when it goes over to AB it will make the sound it jumped over but when it is pulled down from AB to mil there is no sound. F-16 throttle mil power stopper klick sound.trk
  11. Right, didn't read well, I managed to reproduce and made a track: TGP CZ after mk point not returning to selected point.trk
  12. That logic has been corrected in the latest patch. ‪
  13. Yes that is the recently corrected behavior, when TGP is SOI and TMS UP is pressed it will automatic switch SOI to Mav WPN page, you can however DMS Down to switch SOI to TGP again.
  14. Working fine on my end, post a short track please so we can see whats going on.
  15. Can't we create lines manually? get 2 points coordinates on F10 map make them STPT let say 15 and 16, they will make a line on HDS, that's how you can mark borders or no fly zones etc...
  16. Hey, wanted to ask whats going on with manual for F-16? and other jets like F/A-18, no updates since July 2023. Any updates we can expect? Edit: Got the answer on discord: so fingers crossed to see this soon:)
  17. Off course they have wheel chocks in place, cause the parking brake disengages with power off and the plane can roll out. I really don't know what the big deal is for ED to add this, it has been asked for a year or two ago.
  18. Or you Post a track please, it works fine on my end.
  19. You think they are doing this on their own? I see the logic why you think it shouldn't switch SOI to WPN page when TGP is in AUTO, since TGP can, with TMS RIGHT, command Mav to redesignate so why should SOI switch to WPN page right? It would be logical to switch to WPN page if Mav actually locks something so you can unlock if that something is not the correct target. That would seem logical to me, but I guess they did their research, maybe this could be researched a bit more.
  20. This is very confusing. I never said that what you said about previous behavior is not true. Anyways you never answered my question, how do you know what is correct behavior?
  21. Correct, how do you know what is correct? We know its not previous behavior. FCR was mentioned, I assume the logic is the same for TGP, when handoff is initiated SOI is switched to WPN page.
  22. It is not redundand, it will auto handoff target with AGM-65D and G (the IR mavericks), K and H didnt have auto handofd function.
  23. This is no bug, it is intentional, read EO-PRE mode from:
  24. In EO-VIS mode with AGM-65, first TMS FORWARD will stabilize the TD box, Second TMS FORWARD will place SOI on the WPN page but then TGP starts drifting, it stabilizes only with TMF AFT. Track: TGP Drift VIS Maverick.trk
