  1. I'd like to see this improved as well, but do you have any public source of info on how these jammers work?
  2. Good idea to separate guided and unguided.
  3. Yeah, we can't discuss other products here but just check out the videos, much simpler than ED would do it but not just basic stuff. Mere fact that Dassault didn't put lawyers on their back is definitely a step in the right direction.
  4. Hey, all fine on my end, can you post a short track replicating the problem? Also check bindings for TMS.
  5. As far as I know in F-16 you don't have to designate, where ever you move your sensor that spot becomes sensor point of interest (SPI) and all your other sensors are slewed there. As long as you aim for the bottom of the target you are good to go, be sure to lase for 2 or 3 sec prior to releasing JDAM for better accuracy.
  6. Alright my bad, But still my point stands, there is lots of info out there on Rafale, is it enough I don't know. Rafale happened as official product in some other sim so I guess it will happen here sooner or later.
  7. That is great to hear
  8. Best is to post a short track of the issue so we can see whats going on and help if we can. When you do a cold start in the F-16 you need to reset datalink for it to work. List > Enter > 1 to turn it off and then 1 again to turn it on, maybe that is what is causing the problem. Just guessing tho but worth a try.
  9. Nvm really, the point is that their docs is really hard to get, we all know that, but on the other hand we are getting Eurofighter with PESA probably and Meteor which is unbelievable but they say they will do it, and that is happening so why not Rafale F2 or F3 which would be just perfect for DCS even without R.
  10. That is not correct, even France on their F3Rs don't have AESA on all of them, they use PESA.
  11. I saw a video from hasard lee where he said they had the option to switch between jhmcs and nvg during flight, it would take few minutes to do so. Can't find that video anymore guess he made it private.
  12. You'd feel that 1000 pounds suddenly detach from wing, in DCS currently jets just start rolling to the side. Video showing what happens when bombs are released:
  13. Its not the whole number, 55 is 550, 32 is 320 etc.
  14. Hi, can you post a short track of the problem. What you have described didn't happen to me, so a short tack would be great.
  15. Yeah, I'd like that too, was just talking about it with my friend, we can drop weapons anyway we like, over-g the pods etc. Would be great to have that implemented.
  16. Not sure what you mean but under Axis Commands there is MAN RNG Knob and it is assigned as axis.
  17. The one for the DED is called Data Entry Display Brightness Control Knob and its is on the Lighting panel.
  18. Hi, if you think about those green stripes lights then no, F-16 doesn't have that. F-16 has red and green position/formation lights on the wingtips as well as on the fuselage. You can check that in the manual page 69. There is HUD panel right off the stick inside the cockpit, on that panel there is HUD brightness control switch which sets the illumination.
  19. Yeah, some stuff if green colored but not really finished like GBU-24 Paveway III or HTS pod, I guess they cant get all the documentation for that stuff. Because Lantirn is what our F-16 was using, we are also getting SNIPER XR which is more modern than Litening as far as I know.
  20. Has this been resolved still happening to me too. Loading textures takes at least 10 sec.
  21. How is that at the same time? All I see is that he had to lift HMD to put NVGs on.
  22. ED is working on those psychics but no info when we might see that in game.
  23. It makes sense that sensitive electronics should be CAT III. But SMS page doesnt have cheek stations as far as I know so the jet doesnt know if it has TGP/HTS loaded. So when ag weapons are dropped stores warning is given cause the jet thinks CAT I should be used. As far as I know, in real life pilots have G force limits when TGP or HTS is loaded, and they dont go over those limits or they can damage the jet or electronics. Same goes with AG weapons. CAT I or III are AOE limiters as far as I understand. We can still pull 9G in any configuration. But in DCS there is no damage to electronics.
  24. Well there is more or less 13 year difference in introduction between the two, Rafale introduction was 2001 while F-35B was introduced in 2015, big gap there. But 2001 Rafale was F1 with no Air to Ground capability so my guess is that F2 version (which had AG capability) and onwards would be more interesting for the player base. Rafale F2 was first delivered to their airforce in 2006, as far as I understand, which would be most interesting I guess since its about the same era as our Viper, Hornet, F-15E suite 3?, Apache etc. As for demand, you can bet its huge for Rafale as it is for many other gen4 fighters out there but I guess for those planes it is very hard to get the documentation or it is too expensive to get the license. Either way demand is there. At the moment if you want fox3 capable or TGP capable full fidelity plane you have to go US or only other option is Jeff. MiG-29 coming and it is great but no fox3 or TGP, same with M2000C so modern era still doesn't have much alternatives. We can only express our wishes like this and hope for the best.
