When I delete SnapViews file in Saved Games FOV resets to 118 give or take, is that the default FOV? And when I turn my head the picture becomes stretched around the edges.
-
I tried deleting that file and repairing but it didn't work did you alter your default view by any chance?
-
Hi, Where does MiG-29 Fulcrum save its snap views, I can't seem to reset the view. I tried deleting Snap View lua from saved games, and also snap view default but with no joy. Anyone knows this?

as of 9/24/25 getting incompatible settings for all loadouts
Furiz replied to arnon's topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
@arnon Hi, some stuff changed since Sniper ATP released so it would be best to do some research regarding those changes, There is Wags playlist on the F-16 and last 2 videos are about the Sniper pod I suggest you watch those: Also there is Viper Mini Updates thread on this forum whee you can find info about updates to the Viper: Then there is the dreaded manual, you can find it in your DCS/Mods/aircraft/F-16C/doc folder. Regarding old Litening targeting pod, it is a mix of Litening and Latirn pod which is not realistic and way too sharp for the time period of our F-16, it will be removed after they do proper simulation of Lantirn pod as far as I know. -

C-130J Preview in Chicago | Iraq Development Progress | Red Flag EU
Furiz replied to Graphics's topic in Official Newsletters
Will this Red Flag EU event be streamed somewhere? would love to watch this -
I think you misunderstood what the issue is here. no matter where the nose is pointed it will always scan the ground, when in some cases it is not physically possible to turn the antenna to the ground while the nose is pointed 85 degrees up. Like in this image:

Furiz replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
Well to be honest, we have no idea how far are they in development, and what state of the module is even planned for EA. -
We will not get Litening II for Viper since they don't have enough public docs for that, We should get Lantirn later on.
-
You don't need tankers exact altitude, you just need its altitude to find it easier, cause you would need to know which altimeter setting the tanker is using etc, the led lights on the right side are indicating if you are ahead or behind the correct position and those left side led lights are indicating if you are too low or too high. Page 154 in the F-16C manual explains this.

Left wing 3D mesh gap when it flex and other mesh inconsistencies.
Furiz replied to Czar's topic in Bugs and Problems
Yeah I think that was reported already. -
Maybe cause the litening pod is just a place holder that they didn't bother updating cause it will get removed eventually.

Don't forget that for every new aircraft there need to be AI version done as well so you can fly with wingmen. MiG-29 already has AI in DCS, but F-35 doesn't. Building AI takes time too. -
Hi @avimal, That one is very easy to set up and you can find one in User Files, for example: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3306414/

No fix for sniper pod not being able to put GBUs on moving targets on
Furiz replied to Gunfreak's topic in Bugs and Problems
It's reported afaik, and that I think is wht problem with SPI, they had the same problem with previous pod. -
Just get set up correctly under the tanker and the boom operator will connect, easier than hornet imo.
-
I agree, its not the Sniper, its other pods that are not adjusted for time frame. I doubt ATFLIR doesn't lose on image quality when zoomed in back in 2005 (hornet time frame), which is the case now in the hornet.

Much easier to boresight in the air, you can lock Maverick onto something first then slew your TGP on the same target and hit boresight.
-
Off course PvP to be any fun requires balance, but simulation doesn't, it only requires to be as realistic as it can be. Cause simmers wanted realism, and that doesn't include balance
-
Them having "cojones" or not is not the topic here. Reality is that there is no balance in real world. So F-35 or EF2000 or any modern jet can fit in any scenario.
-
Some war happened very recently which involved F-35, among other modern fighters, vs very old US and Russian fighters that were operated by another country. So the idea of matching aircraft era to recreate real world conflict can go down the drain

You guys went off topic here

Hi, please read manual and watch Wags videos: You'll get the idea
