Better readable Radio Menu for DCS 1.2.0

I initially did this for a friend that has not the best eyesight but a 27" 2560x1440 screen...

Before you ask:

No - I don't know how to bring back what was able to do in 1.1.1.1 (and I'm also not amused...)

BUT....

I'm right now working at a AHK script that can interpret mouse gestures (so it will work also on a touch screen).

So you only have to chose a starting point where no click-able item is - and simply"draw" 1,2,3,... to send F1,F2,F3.....

A note to the responsibilities at Eagle Dynamics:

Please give the people that designs the interface a bigger monitor (a little bigger in resolution than 1024x768 ... or even better : Give them two! this would be a real Eye-opener for them! ;) ).

I already thought to edit it after I realised it myself yesterday... but this would mean another Moderator approval for the user-files at the DCS-homepage and so on...

So I leave it as it is - and I bet in one month no one will really notice this any more

So lets say this is a "open-beta" that will be released in nearly one month . - and the PR-department already used this date...:) See ? nothing a developer can really do about! :D

This files are for 1.2.0 - they doesn't work in DCS World 1.2.1.

Hi... I'm not good at this thing, but I've just poked these files.

Of course PeterP knows better, but here's my findings:

In ".../Scripts/UI/RadioCommandDialogPanel/" folder,

• CommandMenu.lua
  Line #94 > Text size. I set 22.
  Line #110 > Caption text size. I set 28.
  Line #111 > Caption text colour. "Yellow" isn't bad.
  Line #55 > Menu width. You can adjust "right to left" position of menu by increasing it. I set 350.
   
   
  
• CommandDialogsPanel.lua
  Line #160 > Menu window height. It's better increse it to 450 or 500, if you adjust bigger font size in "CommandMenu.lua".

I didn't touch font type, it's OK for me.

Does anyone know where to change these setting for text sizes in the latest version?

Cant find these lines in the current version in these files?

here you'll find my old files for 1.2.4 where you can refer to the lines numbers given by Devrim, and find them in the new files 1.2.7.

For 1.2.7 files i combined these modifications with PeterP's clicking menus.

To help others out, here is what I did for my 30" Main monitor running at 2560 x 1600, note I did NOT modify the height in the CommandDialogsPanel.lua file as it was not needed:

In ".../Scripts/UI/RadioCommandDialogPanel/" folder,

Line #44 > menuWidth = 280 (Changed to 500)

Line #84 > textSkin.skinData.states.released[1].text.fontSize = 12; (Changed to 22)

Line #100 > menuCaptionSkin.skinData.states.released[1].text.fontSize = 15; (Changed to 28

Line #101 > menuCaptionSkin.skinData.states.released[1].text.color = Color.white() (Changed to yellow)

This dosent work in 2.0 anyone found out how to do it ?

Is there any mod that enables the messages/text to stay in view for a longer period of time?

And what about ATC//AI answers displayed on upper left screen position. I didn't find configuration file to modify the font size of these messages.
