Ragnar65
Hi guys, got a strange issue with the left DDI. On the FCS.page there seems to be a couple of lines missing. Having the FCS-page on the right DDI everything is allright. Any suggestions for solving this? Chops
The first two screenshots are of the Left DDI, the third shot is of the MFMD which is working correctly.
ED Team Wags Posted June 30, 2018 ED Team Share Posted June 30, 2018 This is correct, it's the caution and advisory window. If you turn off your LDDI, you'll it on one of your other displays. Ragnar65
Yes, intended. Just as in the real aircraft. Interesting... but why only on the left DDI? ED Team Wags Posted June 30, 2018 ED Team Share Posted June 30, 2018 Because caution and advisories default to the LDDI and are only on one display at a time. Eldur
Guys, see attached my screenshot. Do i get Wags right, that it is intended? Strange to believe, to be honest... What really gets me is the "ADV-" thing when there is no actual ADV. Shouldn't the window be gone if there's no warnings or advisory notes? Ragnar65
Because caution and advisories default to the LDDI and are only on one display at a time. Sounds well, but when LDDI is off, FCS on RDDI doesn´t show that... Anyways, if it is intended, I sure will live with it... ;-) X-56 HOTAS, TFRP Pedals Modules: F-5E, FC3, F/A-18C, Mirage 2000 C, AV-8BNA, FW-190 A-8, F-16C Viper SystemSpecs: AMD A8-6600K (4x3,9GHz), 16 GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GTX1070 8GB, WIN10 64bit
ED Team Wags Posted June 30, 2018 ED Team Share Posted June 30, 2018 If LDDI is off, MPCD is 2nd in priority for cautions and advisories. Alphamale
Yeah, I see that...but if you look closely, you can see the letters ADV- ....I thought the OP was saying that his line was cut in half as if it was scrolled down past the viewable area of the DDI..IOW the info that follows the ADV - , was not readable on the left DDI Edited June 30, 2018 by Alphamale

Point #16 on this post says they should. If that part of the DDI is permanently obscured, it sounds like a bug. wilbur81
Yes, intended. Just as in the real aircraft. Hey, ED team. In this real life image of the obscuring advisory strip provided by Wags, is it true that this only appears/obscures the Left DDI if there is actually an advisory? In this picture, is the data to the right of "ADV-" (does it say "CDATA" ?) something that had popped up and could have been cleared with time or by the pilot...thus bringing back an un-obscured DDI display? Asking for a friend. :) Edited March 3, 2019 by wilbur81 i7 8700K @ Stock - Win10 64 - 32 RAM - RTX 3080 12gb OC - 55 inch 4k Display
dorianR666
yeah, i also dont understand why the display is obscured when there is NO caution or advisory on (advisory line obscures part of the display with the "adv-" line and nothing behind it; whole line is black) this just cant be right Edited March 3, 2019 by dorianR666 added pic CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600X GPU: AMD RX
Wrench
SA page contact datablock blacked out On the SA page, I'm getting a black bar over the contact information in the bottom right-hand corner. Is this typical? Sorry for the crappy VR screenshot, but it's what we've got. here's a slightly better one. Edited May 6, 2019 by Wrench Carrier Script.
