Start your poll! Mind you ... ED may already have several aircraft in the plans already, so you might not get your wish anyway ... but you can try!

Apache is already announced.

O.K. Folks...

Let V C which air/rotorcrafts R the most popular for the next addon...but PLZ vote while U R don't thinking of previous SIMs like Falcon, F/A-18 or Enemy Engaged.

PLZ Focus on DCS feature:

• Highly-detailed six degrees of freedom cockpit

• Unrivalled flight physics system

• Realistic damage model and system cascade affect

• Mouse-clickable cockpit

• Detailed modeling and control of engine, fuel, hydraulics, electrical, navigation, radio, fire suppression, sensor, and weapon systems (casual game play modes also available)

• Advanced weapon physics for missiles, rockets and cannon rounds including ricochets

& my Favorites:

• Highly-detailed environment

• Realistic speed feeling ( what I didn't get in Falcon :( )

I don't write versions of air/rotorcrafts but multiple choice allowed.

There R 5 Russian & 5 American machines:

----------------------------

from LOMAC:

MiG-29

Su-27

Su-33

Su-25

A-10

F-15

new competitors:

F-16 (AH-64 was here)

Mi-28

F-14

F-18

edited coz of GTharos: (I know V have 10 poll options but Bonus 11th competitor should B the :

F-16)

What about the T-Frog - that'll be where my Vote Lies!

F/A-18 definitively, since we could play the role in either a fighter or an attack mission.

What about the Mi-24, Su-24 and Mig-31?

SRY...V have 10 "factory" forum options

...but Mi-24 & MiG-31 should B great options too

I would like some older "lower tech" jets like MiG-21, F-14, F-4... Those I would think have less sophisticated avionics so they might take less time to make too.

From the list, Flankers, F-18, F-14 and Apache would propably interest me the most. A TVC flanker would be fantastic but propably a bit too much to wish for.

You can remove the A-10 as well. Like the Apache it is already announced for implementation. I voted for the MiG-29.

Okay stooooop, how come nobody talks about F-22?

Because how can you try to realistically model something in a sim that you can never get accurate data on? :D

Posted

I would go with something modern. Lets say a Su-30. Give me something that is going to tie me over for a couple of years that is multi role. Something that can do it all Sead, A2G, A2A, Anti-ship, Recon, Aerobatics. This will be the perfect aircraft.

I think the F/A-18 should be the first jet they make. It can do both A2A and A2G. Also, you can do head to head online play!

DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

Should really put F-16 on that list as they have plenty of data on it already and its highly likely to be a future addon. And its a really easy aircraft to fly and can do alot of different aspects of air combat.

A carrier-borne Tomcat sim would hit the spot. The aircraft has a massive fan base, probably one of the biggest. It has multi-role capability which would bring a diverse mission profile to the sim. Lastly, well modeled carrier aviation with attention to flight deck operations would break the mold of all other sims. The only complaint I could see against a Tomcat sim would be it's tandem seat configuration. Even if there was a computer controlled RIO that fed the player information, it would be pretty realistic. My opinion.

I voted F/A-18 since it's currently one of the most used aircraft and working horse in so many airforces. MiG-29 would be pretty much very high on the list too, but I'd like to see MiG-21BIS modeled the most but I can't vote for it because it's not included in the list. Also I think Jaguar would be a very good choice. In the begining I think it would be better to go slowly up from Helicopers to slow moving strike aircraft to high performance multirole jets then finally move to air superiority fighters.
