rrohde
Would love to see this added to DCS: A replay function that allows you to replay the last message that was either narrated or given in text format. Some "Come again?" button or option inside the already existing Comms menu would be great. When selecting "Come again?", the previous message is repeated on screen and/or narrated again. To me, this would be very useful, especially during busy campaign (or training) missions where both spoken and text-based info is easily missed... (For text-only information, maybe a scrollable "history" panel could be opened as well...?) 2 PC: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | MSI Suprim GeForce 3090 TI | ASUS Prime X570-P | 128GB DDR4 3600 RAM | 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD | Win10 Pro 64bit Gear: HP Reverb G2 | JetPad FSE | VKB Gunfighter Pro Mk.III w/ MCG Ultimate VKBcontrollers.com
Johnny Dioxin
100% agree and a "Say again" option on the radio menu would be completely realistic as well. Come to think of it - can't you already do this with warning mssages from Betty in the Ka-50? So should already pretty much have the code available, too. 1 Kneeboard Guides Rig: Asus B650-GAMING PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS; SN-1 Pedals; VR = Pico 4 over VD Wireless + Index; Point Control v2

fixen
Even though I rarely play singleplayer, so I almost never have to deal with the radio menu, it makes a lot of sense to have it included. +1

SGT Coyle
+1 for upgrade to comms interaction. VR pilots especially suffer from not being able to write things down for recall let alone having the ability to read their chicken scratch withoput peeking under goggles. Highly suggest folks read https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=203064 in VR input forum. rrohde Try to add a POLL to your original post. MasterZelgadis
+1 There is a way, but the mission creator has to implement it. In my mission I currently work on, I have an F10 option to review all active mission objectives with a separate little voice over ("Your mission is to do yadda yadda"..). Just as a workaround ;) "Sieh nur, wie majestätisch du durch die Luft segelst. Wie ein Adler. Ein fetter Adler." http://www.space-view.net
SnowTiger
I would definitely like to see this implemented ASAP. Since the suggestion was made 2 years ago, it would be great if ED were to give this the thumbs up and implement it for us immediately. Surely it cannot be that difficult to do can it ? SnowTiger
Another similar option would be to "stack" the messages until we "clear" the stack with a key press or something (similar to turning Chat On/Off). I think this function should be available for aircraft messages (i.e. AWACS) and Mission Voice Messages that are shown in the top right of the screen. If the function to view them is on, we should have the option to leave them on the screen until we want to clear them, not be bound by the time specified by the mission author (which may only be 5 or 10 seconds). KevyKevTPA
I apologize for resurrecting this thread from the long dead, but it this still a "wish list" item that has never been done, or is there now some way to do it that I've not yet found? Seems to me like a no-brainer, there's a reason the phrase "Say Again..." exists.
