Allows for the EXTREMELY limited usage of weapons that will be officially added in the future and weapons that will be not added in the future to the F-4E Phantom II. This includes weapons like Zuni, AGM-45B Shrike, AGM-88C HARM, AGM-78A/B Standard, AIM-4D Falcon, Litening TGP, and additional possible mounting points for the SUU-23 20mm gunpod. Hi everyone, For whatever reason, I cannot seem to get the AI F-4E-45-MC to use Paveway II and Paveway III series laser guided bombs against points on the ground. Upon reaching the waypoint with the bombing task, the aircraft simply turn around, follow the rest of their waypoints and land. I've tried numerous options on the weapon to use (AUTO just ends up using the internal cannon, I've also tried guided bombs, guided and bombs) to no avail, override AI attack avoidance decisions also doesn't appear to change the behaviour (and in any case, this mission is empty apart for the AI aircraft - there's no threats). It also doesn't seem to matter if the task is set to CAS and whether or not you use the CAS, Attack Group/Unit or Search then Engage tasks, none seem to work. The issue seems to be fairly exclusive to Heatblur's F-4E-45-MC (though the F-5E-3 also failed to drop the bombs, but then, there wasn't anything to provide designation). Attached is a track showing what happens with the GBU-12, the issue is also present on the GBU-10 and GBU-24B/B (the latter should actually be an A/B, but that's for HB to fix). EDIT: The problem is also happening with a few other weapons as well, it seems mostly isolated to guided air-to-surface weapons, with exceptions (so far the AI is fairly reliable when engaging with the AGM-12). In AI_F-4E_AGM-65D_nofire.trk, you can see that the AI won't fire Mavericks at a tank platoon, the same is true for every other Maverick the F-4E-45-MC has available. It also happens regardless of what the Maverick is mounted on (be it the LAU-117, the LAU-117 on the special weapons adapter or the LAU-88). In AI_F-4E_AGM-45A_nofire.trk, you can see that the AI won't fire an AGM-45A at the SON-9 (the guidance section is set appropriately), I have got it to fire at the Big Bird and the P-19 however - it seems a bit inconsistent. I also can't get it to fire at the Fan Song or Low Blow. EDIT 2: The AI will only fire AGM-45A if the SEAD advanced waypoint task is active, it doesn't work if you only have an Attack Group/Unit or Search then Engage task set. The GBU-8 is as with the Paveway II and III described above, see F-4E_AI_GBU-8_nodrop.trk. Both Walleyes however are unaffected. Hi everyone, there is a keybind to change the radar range to 5 and 10 miles from the pilot seat? all i found is the jester keybinds for 25 and 50 miles in wide and narrow mode, but i wanna know if is it possible to set as 5 and 10 miles, i know is possible to jump back in the WSO seat and set from the knob but when you jump on the front cockpit jester set again as he want.

You may have seen some of the recent videos from my group when flying this mission. A mission we call "Into the Jungle". This is a MP Vietnam era mission using period proper aircraft on the Marianas Map. The mission has a focus on eliminating randomly generated VC troops in and around the lake area on the southern part of the Marianas map. The mission highlights the OH-6A Cayuse and A-4 Skyhawk and was originally put together in preparation for the F-4E (which is also in the mission). Also included are Hueys and F5s. I have been asked to post this mission from some of the folks who have watched the videos. I normally don't post missions with mods in them so be aware, this mission requires a few. You could always modify the mission and exclude anything you don't want, I suppose. Hi everyone, The F-4E, when flown by AI, is able to provide guidance to multiple AGM-12s independently - this is something that shouldn't be possible. There is only one control (available only to the pilot) that provides a means to send steering commands to an AGM-12 - if multiple AGM-12s are in-flight simultaneously, they should all receive the same commands, it shouldn't be possible to provide separate commands to each missile. This behaviour can be seen with player aircraft - if a player has multiple AGM-12s in-flight simultaneously, they all receive the same commands and perform the same manoeuvres - controlling each missile independently isn't possible. This is most obvious with the AGM-12A and B as there's a significant delay between subsequent firings compared to the C. There you can clearly see that missiles are being guided independently (usually when a subsequent missile is fired, you can see the AI steering that missile onto target while the previous missiles receive no/much smaller steering corrections, which can be seen in the 2 tracks below). Hi, does anyone know anything about the following: How long does it take for the F-4E INS alignment to complete? How many waypoints can the F-4E Nav system handle? Can the nav system manage offset points for loft bombing runs? Can the nav system calculate ToT and show cues on the HUD?

From photos it appears that the AN/ASQ-153 Pave Spike is mounted in the left front sparrow station on the F-4E: Similarly, I have seen photos of the AN/ALQ-131 ECM pod in the same station: Is it possible to mount either of these pods in the front right/elsewhere, and is it possible to use them simultaneously? Would that configuration ever have been used operationally?

I've been trying to change the music on the tape player and have been unsuccessful. I already have the SDEF file in the corresponding folder and the actual music folder is a WAV file also in its correct folder as stated in the manual but it still doesn't work. Padlock, lock view/unlock view does nothing. I use a head tracker but I thought they still worked together. I have restarted the game, tried with tracking on/off. To be fair I'm probably not using them right, never used them before. Cheers. dcs.log

I did a mission for the F-4E after update 2.9.5.55300 which introduced the F-4E to the DCS platform. When the mission was created, the ILS and TACAN at Akrotiri airfield were working perfectly. As time went by while I edited the mission and added new units, the ILS and TACAN stopped working. I deleted all units and triggers from the mission and only the TACAN started working again. The ILS doesn't work. You can test it in the mission below. The funny thing is that if you create a mission again from scratch the ILS starts working normally. Now if I start adding the units again, I don't know if the ILS will stop working in the future. Please check this possible bug.
