About us Virtual Air Fighters is a community that has been described as "MilSim Light". We fly exciting Hollywood style missions, with an emphasis on fun and engagement over pure realism. We invite all UK pilots to come and give us a go. We are welcoming and now we're coming to the end of the summer holidays, it's time to get back to mission readiness. Links below for our application form Pilot Application This application is for all new pilots who wish to fly with us. Once we have the numbers you will be split into individual Squadrons depending on your abilities and preferences. Navy or Air Force. Just because you select one group now doesn't mean there isn't the ability to change in the future. Squadron changes will happen at the discretion of senior staff members and a request to move cannot be made more than once per year. We must make it clear that we are NOT a heavy military simulator group, we run exciting missions that don't always conform to realism. When we bring on new pilots we are way more interested in your personality and how you fit into the team than we are with your skill set. New applicants will be required to do a check flight with a senior member of the team. This is to ensure your personality fits with our team. Basic Requirements: Must be 18 years or Older Must reside within the UK/Ireland. HOTAS or Equivalent. Headset/Microphone (Required) Must be able to fly at least 1 day of the 2 per week. See application form for days. We are extremely flexible when it comes to flight times, your personal life will always take precedent over any sim flight team. We are understanding to your personal needs. However, a continuous lack of communication or involvement in the team over several weeks will result in a single warning followed by removal from your Squadron and if necessary a reapplication will be required. Bonjour à tous Le 17th Cavalry regiment d’apache de la Liaison 16 qui recherche des pilotes et CPG Nos missions : - Support aérien rapproché ( CAS ), de frappe au sol de courte portée via le canon, les roquettes ou encore les hellfires, de la désignation laser ou de l’éclairage de cible, et enfin de la recherche et surveillance. Le Régiment opère depuis FARP, FOB, base et porte aéronefs. - Des missions sont organisées tous les samedis et des pilotes sont présents sur nos différents serveurs en semaine. Qui sommes nous : - Nous sommes un régiment rattaché au groupe Liaison 16. La L16 est un groupe regroupant plusieurs appareils (M2000C, F/A18C, F14B, Mi24P, Mi8, F16, Jf17, AV8B, Ah64D). Ce qui nous fait en moyenne une base de joueur par mission de 30 personnes. Nous rejoindre : - Il faut rejoindre dans un premier temps le discord L16 puis faire sa présentation dans le chanel adéquat (des exemples sont à disposition pour les plus timides.) puis prendre contact avec le régiment (Nos hôtesses d'accueil sauront, vous guider.) Tout est entre vos mains, alors n'hésitez plus, posez vos fesses dans un apache de la 17th et venez faire un tour avec nous.
