I guess that is because it only works in DCS 2.0, which will probably be released at the end of November. And RAZBAM wants to make their money in this year for fiscal reasons or so, which is completely OK with me. If they see the monex now they know their market and whether it will be lucrative to sell more modules. I think it is a good idea. IMO 3rd parties should sell their stuff as soon as they know they have all blockers out of the way. There will always be pre-purchasers, and that way the risk of development becomes a bit smaller (because they have to spend a lot of money before release).

Will it be able to turn properly or will it be like mig21 where the wing design bleeds energy like crazy at medium to high AOA?

Well it's a delta, all deltas have that problem.

Depends whay you mean by properly...

Instantaneous turn rate is supposed to be good, but it will bleed speed. I think thats something every Delta wing aircraft shares.

IIRC the Israelis were using their Mirages in energy fights.

That's where the FBW system comes in. To prevent that.

I guess properly was a poor choise of words. More appropriate would be "sustained" turn. Guess not. Thanks

It's great to see a big producer like razbam get their first product out there for DCS world. This can only be a really good thing for DCS.

BIGGEST is to see them enter in DCS with a mach 2 interceptor/fighter like LNS!! :joystick:

Sure I buy HOTAS warthog in december!

Just a quick question to the future Mirage pilots.

I'm getting the Eurofighter Typhoon when it gets released, the Mirage isn't really THE jet for me.

Do you Mirage pilots still want to fly with me? :)

I vividly remember these YT vids where SU-27s get their ass handed to them, by Mig-21bis pilots... So why not? :smartass:

Thanks for that attempt Mark, but that doesn't answer my question.

Actually it DID answer question one! Yes, there is a campaign. And on a logical approach it should be obvious that it will be for the free Caucasus map included in DCS World...

You can't force people to buy Nevada, just to fly the Campaign that is part of the product, without at least putting a sticky note?

Mirage 2000 instantaneous turn rate is one of the best in the arena, even probably the best of its time.

Sustain turn rate is lower than F-16 but it is not that low.

But please, stop comparing Mirage 2000 with Mirage III family/ derivate and MiG 21=> 1960' Vs 1980'

Yes, Mirage 2000 have delta wing but with relaxed stability...

I'm all for it. It isn't going to be released with SFM so that's one less worry unlike some aircraft we have been waiting 9+ months for an AFM and were more than the $47 presale so sure why not. I'm sure this will make or break RAZBAM for DCS seeing as how they have other modules in development.
