I understand the tighter manoeuvring button to make sharper turns, got that mapped to NWS button on hog stick which I press and hold. But I don't get how to disengage NWS completely? The NWS disengage is mapped to my left throttle button, but it only disengages if i hold the button? Is that meant to be like that? Are you meant to roll down the runway holding the disengage button? But she feels nice to fly, that spool lag will take some getting used to. Also is the RPM supposed to stay on 96 from mil power right through to full max? Cheers

Cheers Basically, yes to everything apart from disengaging nosewheel steering. You don't need to disengage it as it only moves 15 degrees in either direction outside of manoeuvre mode. This is fine for takeoff/landing if you're easy on the rudder pedals.

The DCS World OpenBeta is not relevant anmyore until the next Beta release, whenever that will be. With latest update icons' name and game folder name must be renamed automaticaly to "DCS World" as happened before with DCS Open Beta v1.2.7 I think that brings your Open beta to the release version though. I did the same. Had no issue joining 1.2.8 servers.Ok. I'm not alone I think.
