Amuro
I come back to see no MiG was released in my absence, I am pleased! Here, have a picture of the EAA's MiG-21PF which totally isn't a J-7 II. Paradox
Why they cover the nose? Outdoor environment with the public, people *will* chuck crisp packets and chocolate bar wrappers and sandwich boxes in any opening they find because they can't be arsed to go to the nearest bin. And I suppose it would be funny to dispose of them in a MiG-21. I don't know if that's the real reason but it's definitely something I would consider if I operated such an exhibit. Mode1961
Why they cover the nose? Because of "FOD", Foreign Object Damage. Could be people putting stuff in there, could be birds either being in there OR building a nest in there.
MiG21bisFishbedL
Why they cover the nose? As it's been mentioned, they want to preserve the turbines inside the intake. It's not currently flying, but the EAA likes to keep its display aircraft in good condition so that they may be returned to an airworthy state should the demand come. Reformers hate him! MiG21bisFishbedL
I'm pretty fed up with all the delays and excuses, but this is understandable. They had to make way for Dora, period. Drona
...you can't be serious? I am serious. For a person who has waited and invested in this module, everything I say on this is serious. They have failed to meet numerous targets that they themselves have set and I'm pretty fed up with all this shit. If they say it will be released on a particular version, they should make sure it is released on that version. I don't care about any excuses or external factors and other shit. Put yourself in my shoes and see how it feels. My patience is running thin with these guys and I for one will never trust any third party any more. This is just ridiculous. VMFA117_Poko
Please calm down. Because they are 3rd party developer don't blame them for ED actions and vice-versa. ED decided to release Dora with new patch name but it doesn't change the fact that MiG is just around a corner.
koss19
I complete agree with Kunz. We have waitet too long to be still silent in a corner sitting and waiting for another info. We know that a development is a long road we heard it many many times. The realtionship of many of this comunity has been changet from very positive to neutral or negative because of the delays and promisses they were not satisfyed. In this case i see that the developers doing all what they can but they did a big misstake. They sayed an ETA of some things. That ETA was not realized and people start to be angry. For me is the mig the last 3nd party module i will buy (cause i did it already).
Flagrum
What Cobra meant was, 1.2.10 is nothing more (content wise) than a 1.2.9u1 or 1.2.9.1234. It is just a "name". Would you all be so upset, too, if the version number were 1.2.9.1234 instead of 1.2.10? This version numbering is just a formalism, guys ...
