Flycat Posted August 4, 2014 Share Posted August 4, 2014 Well,when I looked through A10c's facebook,I noticed they post a pic about F-14 and A-10c is landing on the airfield.the other pic is a two-seats,swing wing aircraft fly though the CVN.It is obviously(or maybe?) the tomcat. It seems it will have new model and texture.You know,tomcat in dcs never change since 10 years ago,maybe it needs more love.LOL :music_whistling: Hope to come ture. Are you not allowed to use old addons and convert them to new DCS versions as long as you don't distribute them freely to the public and use it for personal use? Or am i just plain wrong here? It's Possible this is remnants of the IRIS Module (perhaps one of their testers), but I cant be sure if it's from their module or if Someone Ripped it from FSX and Ported it. Unfortunately, according to the information I have, a lot of the Older "Private" FC2 Mods were ripped from FSX without Author's consent as well, and they are starting to be ported to DCS by the same people, Making it "Private" doesn't negate the fact that it's being illegally ripped, personal use or not. On that front, If you want a New AI Model, One can Legally License and Purchase one for $80 or so, and hand it off to a 3D Person to get it Animated and into DCS. Where are you seeing ta D model pit? if you are basing that assumption off of the seats you are dead wrong. It has the ejection handles on top of the seat, which is only present on A/B seats.
